This past Saturday, we celebrated the graduation of our sixth Culinary Skills Training Program (CSTP) cohort, along with one graduate from a previous cohort. We’re so proud of Julien, Eric, Vevian, Damani, Tye & Ebony and all they’ve accomplished. Congratulations, graduates! 🎓

We’re a little late but the message is still important: September 29 was International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, a day to recognize the importance of reducing food waste and making the most of the food we have. At Shepherd's Table, we do this through composting🌱

Special shout-out to our volunteer Craig for tabling at the Long Branch Neighborhood Association cookout a couple of weekends ago! We’re so grateful to Craig for helping spread the word about Shepherd’s Table in the community while also raising funds to support our mission.

Last Friday, we sent summer off with a BBQ for our meal guests! 🍔 We fired up the grills outside and served ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers & some delicious sides. With music playing, tables set up in the parking lot, and dessert and coffee to top it all off, it was a fun afternoon.
