Seeing that one Japanese artist on here making nigerian yaoi and yuri is why nobody should ever take the chuds who say “they hate when you represent them and they hate when you dont” seriously. shocker, when you depict a group of people respectfully, and when you listen to—

i hate when people say, "if you fall out with everyone, you're the problem" because when you're neurodivergent, it's like people can sense that you're different and subconsciously view you as "lesser" because of it. then you end up being treated badly, excluded, misunderstood, or taken advantage of and somehow you're still blamed for every friendship falling apart.

“So now everyone is [justifiably angry] about [an upsetting circumstance] but ain’t have nothing to say about [a whole different circumstance] when folks was [also justifiably angry]”
— every fucking moron on this app, every single time critical thinking is required.

i learned this the hard way from a 3 year long abusive relationship,
if someone is telling you you’re too clingy and making rules for interacting with them,
they don’t like You, they like some form of benefit you add to their life. they’re making you more manageable for that.

asking people to hang out too much
not being able to guess the boundaries people have when they dont tell me about them
asking for help after I've offered to do the exact same for others
having an anxiety attack

by the way remember that grooming can happen even between adults. taking advantage of someone's poor mental health, manipulating and intimidating them into not speaking out is grooming.

The 2nd is that when you're hurting, don't listen to people who rile you up & remind you after it's said & done. They want a show, they want an ordeal that they can't get if you heal from it, all at your expense. Listen to those who say, "Come sit with me & be still a while."

Two things everyone must learn is that most times, ex-friends who hurt you in the past only to treat people kindly later aren't faking it, but rather, they learned a lesson. If you don't drop the drive for vengeance, it will eat you alive, & you'll become something worse.+

Watching people who claimed to love and care about you twist you into some evil monster when they KNOW that’s not who you are is a kind of pain I can’t describe. That betrayal stabs so deep, how did we go from being inseparable to you trying to assassinate my character?
So many friendships have been ruined because one person told a story about you, and no one ever thought to ask you for your side. It’s crazy how fast people will believe a lie about you when they were already looking for an excuse to misjudge you.

It's hard to try to socialize again, especially when that gang is so set up on ruining and isolating you that they go with the smear campaign to anyone who you're trying to befriend and those ppl end up cutting you off to please the bigger/louder/popular side

dumping ppl may feel like nothing to the ones who do it, but the ones who have to deal with being treated like a monster for misunderstandings or straight up lies will NEVER recover from this. it fucks you up, you feel panicked, paranoid and even creating new bonds is hard

i genuinely dont even think some of you guys call people out for good intentions, it just seems like an attempt to farm engagement & the desire to be the morale police lmfao

when i was first diagnosed with clinical depression at 12 years old my psychiatrist was walking my parents through everything it meant and how it impacted my life and my mom went ''yeah but i dont get why would that excuse her not showering'' and the poor man just sighed

My advice to some of you about losing friend groups is to keep your friend list small of real ones. You'll thank me later and it's a hard lesson I had to learn, too.
