I challenge you to: draw with your non dominant hand!! Once I got past the frustration, I was less demanding of myself and didn't strive for perfection, I made faster progress without the pressure. I really encourage you to try it out and share what you have learned :D

My process for studying and stylizing a subject summary: - I trace the general shapes on the image to understand the forms and the movement. - I adapt and stylize these shapes for more clarity and personality: elongation of the neck paw and tail. slimming of the silhouette.

I wanted a more somber expression so I closed the mouth. -I changed the steering head for a more dynamic feel.I drew it in 3/4 view so it would fit better. -I changed the direction of the tail to add weight and create consistency in the feeling I wanted to convey.

Note: I removed one leg because I felt it didn't add anything. It’s barely noticeable in the reference, and you maybe didn’t even realize there were only three legs. Sometimes, removing an element improves clarity; be bold. After all, you don’t have to replicate reality 100%.
