So, this was my day today… Today the House advanced HB3660, a bill to legalize the use of composted human bodies as fertilizer. If this bill is put into law, Oklahoma joins 14 BLUE states that have legalized this process. So, instead of outlawing this type of practice outright, we’re on track to take the use of humanure as fertilizer another disgusting step forward. 🤢

Yesterday, I enjoyed attending a check presentation from Plains All American Pipeline to the Stroud Fire Department. Thankful for Plains’ support of our local first responders. 🚒 Prior to that I had the opportunity to tour Plains’ terminal in Cushing. Very impressive operation. Have a blessed day and enjoy the rain!

Enjoyed being on The Pulse with @DavidJHarrisJr on @NEWSMAX to discuss various pieces of legislation addressing abortion and transgenderism in states across the country. ✅ Life begins at conception, and so do the unalienable rights endowed by our Creator and enshrined in our constitution. ❌ Government programs and taxpayer $$ should never go towards funding the distorted ideology and mental issue of transgenderism.

🔍 Transparency Throwdown - Episode 11 🔍 Want to prove how politicians campaign one way and legislate another? Start with logging Campaign Receipts. ✉️ I know you like to throw those dumb mailers in the trash 🗑️, but hang on to them. 📺 Screenshot or screen record those social media and TV ads. 📂 Now you’ve got a folder of information to compare against their behavior in session. Did you know some politicians like to keep files on their constituents? Time to return the favor.

🚨Lincoln County - Apex Sandstone Hills Wind Project Update🚨 I have received multiple calls about Apex possibly moving out of their office in Carney. I spoke to a representative from Apex today who confirmed they had moved out of that office, and also confirmed Apex has put the Sandstone Hills wind project on hold for the time being. The Apex representative also indicated they are looking to make a final decision on whether to abandon the project altogether by Q1 2027. I will continue to relay updates to everyone as I receive them.

Thank you @FCUnfiltered for having us on the show! 🤔 Rare, common-sense legislation (no taxpayer $$ for illegals) from the House that went to the Senate 🙄 Typical, Senate refusing to hear common-sense legislation

🚨 WATCH: The Oklahoma State House passes a bill to stop taxpayer money from going to illegal immigrants. Republican Senate leadership won't even hear it. Then they shut the chamber down. @shawforok: "The only senators that showed up to work for about a week or two were these two and the rest of the [Oklahoma] Freedom Caucus."

🔍 Transparency Throwdown - Episode 10 🔍 The complexity of the Capitol provides a lot of cover for shenanigans. ❌ Thousands of votes and countless hours of meetings and floor sessions make it difficult to pinpoint the campaign promises that are violated ⏱️ All the politician has to do, is outlast the small number of people trying to keep them accountable Stay tuned for the next episode where we discuss how to break through the nonsense and get the actual receipts you’ve been looking for.

🔍 Transparency Throwdown - Episode 9 🔍 Politicians and the machine behind them are designed to keep you in the dark. 👈👉 Politicians campaign one way, then violate most of those promises by legislating a completely different way 🤑 Lots of money goes into deceiving the public with mailers, ads and messages Stay tuned for the next episode on why it’s hard to track what they’re doing in session.

Thank you, Matt Coday with @ogwausa for the shout-out on @FoxBusiness today! 📈Although some ratepayer protections were passed this year, we need much stronger protections moving forward. ✅We also need a comprehensive policy and regulatory framework surrounding data centers, like I had introduced with HB3724 (summary in comments). 🏛️But first, we need legislators to pass pro-people legislation instead of purely focusing on pro-industry legislation.

Recap of HB3724 failing in committee this year: xitter.cf/ShawForOK/status/20241…
Yesterday my data center bill, HB3724, was voted down 2-6 after 30 minutes of questioning. I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent my district and countless other people who have been demanding common sense regulations and protections against TRILLION💲companies who are pushing these industrial facilities into our state at break-neck speeds. We need a comprehensive policy on data centers, and I will continue to advocate and push for that, especially as I have received confirmation that data center companies are scouting District 32.
