Had a short break between strips so took a shot at @Todd_McFarlane Spawn. Heavily influenced by the work of Mike Mignola and Michael Golden.
In high school we had one other classmate who bought comics but of the Hate, Eightball, Yummy Fur variety however he LOVED the work of Sam Kieth. We did too however we loved Youngblood, Spawn and WildC.A.T.s type comics. Sam Kieth was an artist with that type of appeal. RIP Sam.

By #164 we are starting to edge back into excessive detail even with the heavy amount of panels. Dangerous Dan at least looking consistent with the wider Beano world.
SO here is strip #136 of Dangerous Dan - i think we had found the right style for him here, however we still kept trying different takes as we moved forward.
Here is Dangerous Dan strip #115 - we were really trying to find a way to have Dan fit better within the larger Beano cast of characters. So we were adjusting how we draw him to be more in-line with Nigel Parkinsons work.
This was Dangerous Dan strip #48, so at just about a year on the strip and we started experimenting with adding 3D generated elements. We reated the "Prefect" bot in #blender.

Fitting the season here is a cute #minecraft style Christmas strip we did for 110% Gaming Magazine
For real life we at one point tried to sneak Bandit from #Bluey into a Dangerous Dan annual story. Editorial decided it probably wasn't a good idea and subsequently he was changed.
Its getting close to "formal" season here in Australia and it reminded us of this Jungle Judy strip we did some years back.

Dangerous Dan is back on the cover of @BeanoOfficial and as lead story. Here is a peak at our process from sketch to inks to colour to final design layout(by the team at Beano).
