Geekin because in the 7 months since opening a restaurant, next week might finally be the first time I’ll be fully staffed. I don’t wanna jinx it but I’m so excited to maybe, just maybe, have some semblance of a normal life again. 80-100hr work weeks are not it.
I think the USA should be split up into 5 different countries based on regions (Southwest, South, PNW, NE colonies, Midwest) Hawaii, Alaska, Texas, and Florida should secede and become US Territories instead. Makes more sense to me than 50 independently governed bodies.
Each state has different laws. That’s not One nation under god, that’s a nation divided. Splitting up the USA entity based on regional and cultural factors to form these countries would make more sense. And the USA would be the overseeing body like the EU.
This is true. I bought the entire stock of a certain pair of Target sweatpants from all the stores in the greater Albuquerque area. I’m hoping it lasts me until retirement. I’m 27
as a man enters his 30s, he develops an appreciation for standardization. for example, five years ago, i threw out all my mismatched socks and bought 30 pairs of the exact same socks in the exact same color. when i find jeans i like the fit of, i buy a few identical pairs. last month, i got a shirt i liked so much, i went back to the store and bought out their stock of my size, just to have in stock when the first one wears out. i wear the same outfit every day like a cartoon character, and it imbues me with tremendous power
