How large of a PNG can you store fully on-chain, and how much does it cost?
Most fully on-chain art leans toward pixel art or generative SVG due to high gas costs and congestion.
But with sufficient block space (especially on low traffic L2s), you can easily store more detailed, “regular” images at a low cost.
The main bottleneck of image size is the ~30M block gas limit on EVM chains.
From my experience on @shape L2:
→ up to ~39 KB / image could be stored
→ ~0.00003 ETH (~$0.06) / image
Caveats:
⭕️ ~1 large image per block
⭕️ Can use ~90% of block gas → needs low congestion
⭕️ Requires compression (sometimes lossy compression, but usually not noticeable)

Once you discover a dish, you own the recipe, and everyone must pay you patent fee if they copies your recipe to make your dish.
