I was at the Prague Zoo recently and inside one of the terrariums I found to tortoises I this hilarious position and I just could not imagine how they actually ended up this way ๐Ÿ˜ƒ โ€“ at Prague, Czech Republic

youtu.be/oi2QgPH61JM I never played the first game but just watching this gives me goosebumps. It feels exceptional in every aspect. Ever strike, every parry, every takedown just feels so good. The animations of every enemy look incredible as well. Bravo

Like a yardstick calibrated in millimeters, a journal holds both the detail and the scope of life. Our human condition is to live one moment at a time; weโ€™re never given more than that. Of all the gifts journaling gives us, maybe thatโ€™s the greatest: The simple practice of making daily marks on paper, like mental push-ups, can strengthen the part of us that tries to rise above the timeline, to see a pattern and bigger picture โ€” and, paradoxically, also strengthen the part of us that can learn to treasure the present moment. Keeper A delightful journey with a walking lighthouse I just finished playing Keeper. This is a delightful little adventure, voiceless, set in a surreal world, featuring a walking lighthouse as it's main protagonist. Stuff like this rarely gets made these days. For it to have been by published by Xbox Game Studios is nothing less than a miracle. It took me a little less than 5 hours to get through it but there is a lot they get out of it with the simplest of mechanics. They also manage to throw in more than a few surprises along the way. If you are looking to try something non-violent, delightful to look at and just dive into those creative ideas that Double Fine came up with this is your game.

I stumble across random clips from The Big Bang Theory, Two and Half Men and The Office quite a bit these days and I have this feeling that almost nothing today matches how funny these shows were.

Something interesting I noticed on my recent trip back to India. My iPhone battery was draining way faster with the same usage pattern as compared to when I am in Prague. The only explanation I could come up with is the signal quality is usually so poor that a lot of the battery is consumed in trying to latch on to a network as compared to here.

Bengal Lancer by Francis Yeats Brown Iโ€™m not quite sure when I added this book to my reading list or where the recommendation came from, but it turned out to be the first book I finished in the new year. Itโ€™s a wonderfully written work that covers a wide range of topics like yoga, spirituality, and war all from the refreshing perspective of a British army officer serving in pre-independence India. Itโ€™s funny, poignant, and meditative all at once. A classic for good reason.
