If you’re out in or around central London, please look out for Aziza. She is a vulnerable person and has no coat on #Missing

Getting ready to obsessively check if they’ve finished counting votes in blooming Masano County or whatever from my semi-detached in Kent

@seetickets My parents are due to attend a gig on Sunday but still haven’t received their tickets and we’ve received no response to emails to Customer Service?

I'm utterly lost for words listening to this.
Prof @Kevin_Fong giving the most devastating and moving testimony to the Covid Inquiry of visiting hospital intensive care units at the height of the second wave in late Dec 2020. The unimaginable scale of death, the trauma, the loss of hope. Please watch this 2min clip.

Stop calling racist people ‘anti-immigrant’. They haven’t been attacking white American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, French and Italian immigrants, have they?

‘Pockets of disorder’ ‘rival protests’ ‘anti-immigration protesters’ ‘protesters outside a mosque’ Language that legitimises racism and Islamophobia has led us here, and the BBC continue to do a fabulous job of playing down brown and black people being targeted and battered

Except it wouldn’t because people would vote differently!

If the UK had PR, the Commons would currently look more like this. Labour: 219 seats Tories: 154 Reform: 92 Lib Dems: 79 Greens: 44

credit to Reform UK for getting its first Parliamentary toehold but not sure that 4 out of 650 MPs is quite the major "breakthrough" that some are calling it

Why is everyone so obsessed with vote share? We have a FPTP system. Parties campaign accordingly and people vote accordingly. If we had PR, the vote share results would undoubtedly be different.
It’s astonishing isn’t it: THE VOTE SHARE. No honeymoon with that ~ massive majority on v low vote share Starmer 2024 33.8% of vote = 412 seats. Majority 168. CORBYN WON MORE VOTES IN 2019 THAN STARMER in 2024 > 10.2m v 9.7m Blair 2024 43.2% of vote = 419 seats. Majority 179

As someone who only ever dipped in and out of Brooklyn 99, I am disproportionately upset by the death of Andre Braugher. What a comic genius the man was ❤️

The uxbridge by-election is like when you mention once to an aunt that you like Pandas and then 30 years later you’re still getting Panda themed Christmas presents
