@shanecohn congratulation being the first openly gay STL City Recorder of Deeds. I don’t do politics here, but if you wanna get married or get a birth certificate, that’s where you go. The guy worked the entire city wards and is a long time Alderman. He has a sharp business acumen. He was at a poll for an hour - just to vote last night. That’s where I bumped into former Mayor @LydaKrewson. There were 3 other opponents, and he snagged 40% of the votes.

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Shane Cohn for St. Louis Recorder of Deeds!
@shanecohn is running to make local government work better for everyone by modernizing public records, increasing transparency, protecting homeowners from property fraud, helping seniors safeguard their homes, and improving services for families when they need them most.
It's a people-first vision for an office that should serve every St. Louis resident with respect.

I appreciated the opportunity to attend today's 1st and 3rd Ward Town Hall and get an update on what's happening in the neighborhood. Thank you to @Schweitzer88 and @shanecohn for putting together such an informative event. Always glad to listen, learn, and stay connected.

Had a great time at the @AnnieMaloneCFSC May Day Community Festival. I’ve long supported the Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center and appreciate the work they do in St. Louis.

Today was the first day to introduce board bills, and with that comes Board Bill 1—the City's annual operating budget.
On Monday, the Budget & Public Employees committee will begin a series of hearings, starting with a presentation from the Budget Director.

In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.

This is pure evil. The President of the United States’ genocidal threat to commit war crimes is illegal under federal & international law.
The U.S. military swears an oath to the Constitution, not the president. @thejointstaff is required to disobey any & all illegal orders.
@SpeakerJohnson must immediately call Congress back to Washington & rein in this mad president.

Swear in Congresswoman-elect Grijalva, @SpeakerJohnson.
Do your job. Actually show up for work. Stop protecting the elite.

Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House. They shut down the government to slash YOUR health care.

This is an absolute *must read* opinion from Judge Wilkinson on the Fourth Circuit - a very conservative judge - in the Abrego Garcia case.

Yesterday is one example of how @HeatUpSTL engages thru out the STL region. We have about 50 events we’re invited to be at in 2025. Helping clients with utilities is our mission. Our main source is Heatupstlouis.Org & several outreach offices. 25 years of public service.

We just launched OneStopGov, a digital portal for interactions with the City.
First up: Special events permits.
They used to require 3+ trips to City offices. Now, it’s all online.
This was step 1. We’re working to get more things online so business with the City gets easier.

Local 1 is proud to support and knock on doors for 3rd Ward incumbent Alderman @ShaneCohn. St. Louis’ working families deserve aldermen in City Hall who will fight for them, and Shane has done just that. Primary elections are March 4th!

Quick roundabout update. Alderman @shanecohn pushed hard to get enhancements made at the intersection of Meramec and Louisiana and since these medians and bollards have been in place, we have yet to see an accident. 🤞
He’s working to address the other roundabouts along Lousiana
