The Speakeasy is open for business! #auditions

What’s that? We’re allowed to perform outdoors now? Well Iet’s hope the weather gods smile on us ‘cause that’s exactly what we’ll do. #Shakespeare #outdoortheatre

#MayThe4thBeWithYou. Who would be interested in seeing us do one of these ‘classics’ in the future? If you can stop Disney form suing us then we’ll definitely consider it.

Seems legit.

Take care of yourself. The day will come where we can show off our talent but don’t feel pressured into doing monologues just because you feel it needs to be done. I look forward to seeing all of you perform when this is all over, but I can wait whilst we all cope. Stay well 2/2

It’s Shakespeare’s Bday. There’s a pressure to post something about this but you know what, quarantine mental issues are more important. In this difficult time you don’t need to do a Juliet from your balcony, a Prospero in your back garden or a Hamlet just to show you’re keen 1/2

If you, and only you, had to be quarantined with a Shakespearean character, who would it be and why? For my money: Toby Belch, that man would have some stories.

Soooo, to quote a pretty famous poet ‘the times, they are becoming er quite different’. In order to stay sane, who would be interested in doing online staged readings of the cannon? Please share this far and wide, Shakespeare is for ALL

It is with a heavy heart, but with an eye on the wellbeing of one and all that, the April production of Shakespeare’s Speakeasy has been proposed until further notice. Thank you all for your support. Look after each other out there.

You tell em @AnnieRoweCasts

Shakespeare’s Speakeasy. Doing our part to combat Coronavirus by sharing @shakesonsound’s glorious work.

Hola @NCLCollege , we know you’ve got dozens of talented people studying on you #drama & #performance courses and we would love to see them for #auditions. Details are pinned on our profile. Would be grand to see some of your current students to join many of your alums.

Mortification! I totally forgot to include @AmyAllenby @CastleWambui @EleanorChaganis in our thanks! Just too many fantastically talented people to laud!

Happy International Women’s day to one and all, with extended thanks to those who have prove such an inspiration as performers.

Look at how much fun these guys are having, and they’re only WATCHING the rehearsals. That Shakespeare’s Speakeasy looks like it’s a load of fun. #auditions

Do you know what makes script editing so much fun? 80s music. Will T’Pau feature in the next Speakeasy? Who knows? Audition or book tickets to find out.
