🇷🇺| This statement by Putin lays bare something the West dares not articulate: “Whenever we achieve a military victory on the battlefield, we must formalize and consolidate that gain into a political victory. We must transform it into a document of the enemy’s defeat securing the concessions we need to strengthen our own position.” This is not just about Ukraine; it is about how wars are brought to an end. 💥 After two decades of warfare, the West has never grasped the concept of a “document of defeat.” The U.S. won on the battlefield in Iraq. Saddam’s army collapsed in three weeks; Baghdad fell. And then what? The U.S. remained in Iraq for eight years, lost over 4,000 lives, and spent $2 trillion only to sign a withdrawal agreement. That was not a document of defeat; it was an act of flight. The U.S. won on the battlefield in Afghanistan. The Taliban were driven out of Kabul in two months. And then what? The U.S. stayed for twenty years, spent $2.3 trillion, and ultimately signed the Doha Agreement paving the way for the Taliban to return to power. That was not a document of defeat; it was an instrument of surrender even if those who signed it refuse to admit as much. The U.S. won on the battlefield in Libya. Gaddafi was killed within eight months. And then what? Libya descended into a landscape of slave markets. No documents. No negotiations. No “consolidation of victory.” Only ruins. The fundamental flaw in Western military doctrine is this: it knows how to win on the battlefield, but it has no idea what to do afterward. That is because its wars are not waged to achieve victory; they are waged to perpetuate the conflict itself. 🎯 What Putin is describing is the logic of war as practiced by a sovereign state. In military theory, this concept has a name: the theory of war termination. The logic is straightforward: a military victory, in and of itself, is meaningless. A destroyed city is not a victory. A defeated army is not a victory. True victory occurs only when the enemy sits at the negotiating table, signs a document acknowledging their defeat, and accepts your terms. Such a document must accomplish three things: ◾Formalization: It must codify the realities established on the battlefield into a legal text. Who controls which piece of land, who has the right to station troops where, and what actions are now prohibited. ◾ Consolidation: Transforming military gains into political structures borders, treaties, security arrangements, and economic relations. ◾ Defining the enemy’s defeat: It is not a matter of "both sides are exhausted, let’s have a ceasefire." It is a matter of "you have lost, and these are the terms of your defeat." This is not about "freezing" a conflict; it is about ending one on your own terms. 📜 Why the West Cannot Say This Because Western wars are not waged for national interest; they are waged for the sake of permanent deployment. The U.S. military presence at oil fields in Syria is not about "winning," it is about controlling oil revenue. U.S. bases in Iraq are not there for "stability" they are there to contain Iran. The U.S. presence in Afghanistan was not about "reconstruction," it was about maintaining a military footprint near the borders of China and Russia. If these wars were to "end," if a "victory document" were signed and the enemy "accepted defeat," the troops would have to come home, the bases would have to close, budgets would be slashed, and the profits of the military-industrial complex would shrink. Therefore, Western wars never truly "end." They merely "transform." They shift from "combat missions" to "training missions," then to "advisory roles," followed by "counter-terrorism operations," and finally to "deterrence missions." Each new label marks a retreat, yet every retreat is repackaged as a victory. ⚔️ Resistance Movements Understand This Better Than the West What Ansarallah has done in Yemen is precisely what Putin is talking about. They are not fighting a mere "war of attrition"; they are fighting a war that produces tangible, binding realities. Every strike on Saudi oil infrastructure, every closure of an airport, every hit on Saudi Aramco headquarters creates a new fact on the ground. These facts are written into shipping insurance premiums, embedded in Saudi Aramco’s quarterly reports, factored into the decisions of investors to pull out, and reflected in the concessions Riyadh makes at the negotiating table. They do not need to "destroy" Saudi Arabia. They need Saudi Arabia to sign a document, a document acknowledging that the blockade has failed, a document recognizing Yemen’s right to self-defense, and a document committing to an end to the bombing. The same logic applies to what Iran is doing in the Strait of Hormuz. It does not need to "defeat" the U.S. Navy; it needs the U.S. Navy to acknowledge that it cannot move about freely. It needs shipping companies to recognize that insurance costs have shifted. It needs Washington to accept that a blockade comes at a price. These are not military victories; they are political victories. And political victories only arrive once the military realities have been formally codified. 🔻 Conclusion: Who is learning, and who is teaching? Putin’s statement is not the "expansionist logic" of a "dictator." It is the logic of a nation that learned hard lessons from the Second World War. The Soviet Union lost 27 million people in World War II. It won on the battlefield, signed the necessary documents, established buffer zones, and solidified its victory. It enshrined Germany’s defeat into treaties, borders, and the structure of alliances. The West also won World War II, but it never learned how to "solidify" victory. Instead, it learned how to "manage" it, through NATO, the Marshall Plan, the stationing of troops, and the creation of permanent dependencies. Today, Russia is relearning this lesson in Ukraine; Iran is relearning it in the Strait of Hormuz; and Ansarallah is relearning it in Yemen. Meanwhile, the West remains trapped in "managing" a war it cannot bring to an end, "transforming" a defeat it cannot bring itself to admit, and attempting to "deter" an adversary it cannot defeat. When Putin speaks, he is not merely saying, "I want to win." He is saying, "Once I have won, I will ensure it is codified in a document." The West, by contrast, does not even know what "winning" looks like. Long live the Resistance. Long live the Axis of Resistance.
Putin: Whenever we achieve a military victory in the field, we must register and consolidate that arena of victory into an arena of political victory as well. We must turn it into a document of defeat for the enemy, and get the concessions we need to strengthen ourselves.

A Harvard professor came home from a trip to China and found his front door jammed. He forced it open. A neighbour called the police. Henry Louis Gates Jr. was arrested on his own porch, in his own house, holding his own ID. He is one of the most famous historians in America. Cambridge, Massachusetts, 16 July 2009. Gates, 58, had just flown back from China. His front door would not open. He and his driver shouldered it. A passer-by called it in as a possible break-in. Sergeant James Crowley arrived. Gates was inside his own house by then. He produced his Harvard ID and his driver's licence with that address on it. What happened next is disputed by both men and always will be. Crowley said Gates was uncooperative and loud. Gates said he was asked to step outside, understood exactly what was happening, and said so — including asking the officer for his name and badge number, repeatedly, and not getting it. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. On his own property. A fifty-eight-year-old man walking with a cane. The charge was dropped within days. Cambridge later acknowledged the arrest was regrettable. Barack Obama was asked about it at a press conference and said the police had "acted stupidly," which caused a political firestorm large enough that he convened the famous "beer summit" at the White House with Gates and Crowley to defuse it. And that is where the story usually stops, with three men and some beer on a lawn. Here is what it is actually about. Henry Louis Gates has a MacArthur fellowship, dozens of honorary degrees and a chair at Harvard. He has made television series about tracing Black ancestry. He is about as protected as a Black man in America can be. And none of it worked on his own porch. Every Black professional who has ever been told that respectability is the shield watched that arrest and understood what it meant. Gates said afterwards that the experience changed what he thought he knew about his own country, and he has spent some of the time since working on criminal justice. If it does not work for him, it does not work.

The world is going to suffer for many more months through a massive energy crisis. The oil price is back up to $110 USD, which is basically the same as it was at the peak of the US war against Iran in April and May. This is going to have very negative consequences for the global economy. Inflation has already been rising in most countries, and will likely further increase. The US war against Iran unleashed what the International Energy Agency called the biggest oil supply disruption crisis in history. Now, Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries and depots are only making this worse. Moreover, the US-backed Saudi war against Yemen has led Ansarallah to retaliate by hitting Saudi oil infrastructure, further exacerbating the energy crisis. There are no signs of this getting better any time soon. Buckle up.

“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah. Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah. Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah. "The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him. Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.

I have no respect for this idea that art is somehow separable from politics. ALL art is political when you live in a genocidal dystopia, because all your expression exists in relation to our freakish civilization. If you were on fire, any action OR inaction on your part would necessarily be happening in relationship to the urgency of your situation. If you chose to stand there strumming your guitar while the flames consumed your body, nobody would try to argue that your artistic expression in that moment was somehow separable from your failure to address your urgent need for extinguishment. Your inaction would be a self-destructive act, and your final song would have been about burning to death — whether you sang anything about fire or not. In exactly the same way, western artists who ignore the abuses of the western empire are taking a political position and sharing a political message. They might be singing about romance or dancing or the Sandman, but their actual message is, "Here are those circuses you ordered, you vapid NPCs, you mindless empire automatons, you shambling zombies consuming the flesh of the third world. Distract yourselves from the burning ecosystem, from the screams of Gaza, from the suffering of the poor and the marginalized, from the AI-assisted surveillance system they are constructing all around you right this very moment. Pretend everything's fine and capitalism is working out great for everyone. Here you go, you empty-headed human livestock, sedate yourself with some catchy rhythms while our rulers turn our world into a desert planet so a few billionaires can become trillionaires." Real art tells the truth, and facilitates a deeper connection with reality. It pulls us into intimacy with parts of ourselves we'd been neglecting, draws attention to aspects of the human experience we'd avoided, directs us, rebukes us, inspires us, encourages us, emboldens us and reassures us as we crawl forth on our adventure across this mysterious blue planet during our short few decades between birth and death. And in a healthy world it could do all these things without ever getting "political", because the most urgent needs of the moment would typically just involve our feelings, our interpersonal relationships, and our struggle toward self-actualization. But we do not live in a healthy world. We live under a tyrannical world-eating empire that is fueled by human blood and suffering. That is our reality, and your art is either real about reality or it isn't. You're either telling the truth about reality or you're normalizing it. It's easy for the rich and the propaganda-addled to believe we are living in a healthy world where everything's basically fine, but for everyone whose eyes are open to the reality of our situation as a species, it's a five-alarm fire. A real artist is in tune with reality, and in this particular slice of spacetime our reality contains horrors that should be treated with the same urgency as we would have if our clothing caught fire. Telling artists to shut up about politics is telling them to stop being artists and start being propagandists for the empire. It's telling them, "Don't say anything unless you have absolutely nothing worthwhile to say. Your job isn't to incite, your job is to distract and sedate. Your job isn't to blow on the embers of human brilliance, your job is to play the fiddle while we smooth the pillow of a dying world." Fuck that. Make art. Be brilliant. Fight the empire. Free Palestine.

Brazil > Hollywood actor Wagner Moura explains the Empire's playbook in one line: "First comes the pressure: a war, a tariff, a loan, whatever it takes. Then someone in power who owes his job to Trump: Delcy in Venezuela, Espriella in Colombia, Milei in Argentina. And in the end, the deal: minerals and oil leaving the country, with the Americans in charge." Why Brazil ? Some of the largest rare earth reserves outside China.

🇮🇹 NOW MILAN IS ERUPTING TOO The wave of unrest across Europe is spreading. More than 5,000 protesters took to the streets of Milan over soaring fuel prices and low wages. And things turned violent. Rocks, firecrackers and fireworks were hurled at police. Bus shelters and windows were smashed, with riot officers moving in to break up the clashes. Different countries. Similar frustrations. #Chine #Europe #Automobile #Geopolitique #Industrie #BYD #MadeInEurope

Masked Israeli terrorist settlers attacked diplomatic vehicles carrying representatives from France, Belgium, and Poland during their visit to the village of al-Taybeh during the olive harvest season. The settlers smashed the window of a Belgian consular vehicle and demanded to see identity documents. Testimonies document the terrorist assault on Bernard Baudoux, mayor of Aulnoye-Aymeries in northern France, who was reportedly knocked to the ground. This brazen attack on diplomatic representatives and vehicles is yet another example of the escalating terrorism perpetrated by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and international representatives, in full view of the Israeli occupation authorities.

Yesterday was Elon’s greatest magic trick. It got everybody believe an amazing technological gap had just been made. I got fooled too. At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was so excited. And don’t get me wrong , the technology, the precision at which the car did what it did, was fabulous. However, it was not a car doing it. And that is the true, Machiavellic genius of Elon. There is no flying car. There is no car at all. It was an empty shell. As light as possible. No seats. Nothing. Full of gas tanks. With a maximum of 2 secs of thrust usage. In other words, it was a drone. A drone with a shell that looked like a car. Imagine if it had been a square piece of metal instead. You would have said “nice”. The truth is, it is nothing more than that. It was not the car that you will see in the street. It was just a piece of light metal, that had the same body as the one you wil buy. The technology exists since a long time. If nobody did it, it’s not that they didn’t think about it’s it’s because it is not sustainable. It is not achievable. So why were we fooled ? Because most people can’t imagine the biggest entrepreneur and genius of our century would have put millions into a show and be ruthless enough to put a fake car in a demonstration with the goal of selling something that will have nothing to do with what he is showing. It was a show. A spectacle. Pure manipulation. Ruthless, immoral marketing. The whole “ socialism vs capitalism” or “Europe vs America” we are seeing is the result of a fabulously done propaganda. The car doesn’t fly. It never will. Most importantly, there wasn’t any car on that show. But the brainwashed idiots that we are will rush to buy it, waiting for another two years ( 9 have passed already since the preorders), only to receive something that has nothing to do with what we have seen. Expect the shell. But in 2026, it seems it is what we are. Empty shells for which entertainment and lies are enough to make us dance like apes. Porsche maybe didn’t do a flying demonstration. But at least they will deliver exactly what they have shown. And it will drive better than any Tesla ever will ( especially if it weights two fugging tons).

Pretty funny to see everyone blame this (rightly condemned, to be clear) on whatever their political bogeyman is: I've just seen people say that this is because of, take your pick, "communism," "Islamism," "third worldism," "Russia," and "China". As if France needed any outside help to riot... Maybe some people need to brush up on our history, or read Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables"... This isn't to romanticize the rioters in the least. A reminder that in Les Misérables there's the figure of Thénardier, a horrendous scoundrel who exploits the chaos around him, robbing corpses and fleecing anyone he can. Every chaotic moment in French history has its share of Thénardiers, and this one is no exception. It's just too easy, and actually useful to those in power, to blame this on outside forces. At the end of the day, this anger was made in France, is happening in France, and can only be solved in France. And, as painful as it is to hear, if one studies history, this is pretty much exactly what's expected at the stage France is at. People have studied this. Whether you take Ray Dalio’s six-stage cycle theory, Peter Turchin’s "elite overproduction" thesis or the Chinese dynastic cycle framework, they all come to the same conclusion: when debt piles up, public services crumble and those in power become incapable, the streets eventually explode. In fact it's almost eerie how France ticks almost every box of most cycle theories: - Fiscal distress (debt is 119% of GDP and we now pay more to borrow than Italy or Greece), - Crumbling public services: a reminder that these protests (now turning into riots) started with high school students protesting over the state of education - Political paralysis and a legitimacy crisis (Macron has an insane 82% disapproval rate, he's definitely lost the Mandate of Heaven...) - Popular immiseration with a record poverty rate at 15.4% and a median wage at only €2,190 net per month for a full-time private sector employee (you can't even afford to rent a decent flat in any major French city with this) "Third worldism" or "Islamism" isn't the cause of any of this: French governments didn't borrow like there's no tomorrow (the last balanced budget dates back to 1974!) because the "Muslim Brotherhood" told them to, and it wasn’t Putin or Xi who left French classrooms without teachers... Sadly the reactions - scapegoating - are ALSO typical of this stage of the cycle: Dalio lists among the classic markers of Stage 5 the emergence of "scapegoat classes who are commonly believed to be the source of the problems" (linkedin.com/pulse/delving-s…), alongside a "loss of truth in the public domain," with people more interested in hunting for culprits than looking for solutions. So what is the solution? Well, the way the Chinese dealt with it was basically a reset - regime-changing themselves with a new dynasty claiming the Mandate of Heaven, usually after decades of rebellion and war. Not exactly a hopeful prospect... There is also the exception where a dynasty managed what the Chinese call a 中兴 (zhōngxīng, "restoration"): profound reform from within before the whole house came down. It succeeded a few times (e.g. the Tongzhi restoration during the Qing dynasty) but usually could only buy a few more decades, rarely more. In 1945, the writer Huang Yanpei famously asked Mao how to break free of the cycle (cn.vlex.com/vid/constitution…), framing it in those terms: "People are careful and hard-working at first, for bold measures are the only possible ways to break through difficult conditions. But when things gradually get better, people begin slacking off: laziness may spread through a long history and is impossible to be corrected when it becomes a common practice. Gradually expanded territory requires corresponding increases in talent, but when the latter is insufficient, the central control will become weak. In a word, no one can escape the 'vicious cycle' of dynastic rise and collapse." Mao replied that democracy was the answer, because "as long as the people can supervise the government, the government dare not slacken." And Xi later added a "second answer" (chinadailyhk.com/hk/article/…): a system capable of "resolute self-reform". The jury is still out on whether China has broken the cycle, but if France has any hope of escaping it, it will need both answers at once: a government that truly answers to its people, and very resolute self-reform. One thing the answer definitely isn’t: turning on each other. In all these cycle theories, division and scapegoating appear on the way down, never on the way back up.

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE “SETTLER VIOLENCE” CLIP. Far-left activists, Palestinians and media cameras surround and provoke a Jewish resident — apparently waiting for the reaction they can film. Then the context disappears. The edited clip lands on Al Jazeera, Times of Israel and across social media as another example of “violent settlers.” Sometimes the real story starts before the camera angle they want you to see.

Das System hieß „Where‘s Daddy“.
