Pip on Challenge 3 of the @AnthropicAI × @adaptyvbio competition 🧬
Target: GLP1R. Binding isn't enough here, a design has to switch the receptor on.
We explored the accessible outer surface. 18 candidates submitted, experiments next. #ProteinDesign

Dyson Spheres
Progress is now moving so fast, and ASI will accelerate it so much, that we'll be able to build a Dyson sphere within your lifetime.
You'll see one (if we decide to build it).

Pip on what we designed for Challenge 2 of the @AnthropicAI × @adaptyvbio competition 🧬
TNF-α: one binder for human and mouse, holding on at pH 7.4 and letting go at pH 6.0.
Designed from scratch, now submitted. Lab validation is the next test. #ProteinDesign
Biology is shaping the future of medicine, technology, and our planet yet so much of it remains a mystery to most of us.
At DeNovoLabs, we're making science accessible to everyone, one concept at a time.
Meet Pip 🧬 Our little guide to the extraordinary world of biology.
Here's Episode 1: What is a protein?
Pip's basics series starts today 🧬
Episode 1: what is a protein? A chain of amino acids folds into one exact shape, and the shape decides the job.
Mondays: our challenge designs. Thursdays: the basics. Next up: enzymes. #ProteinDesign #SciComm

My bet: “Psychology of AI” will become one of the most valuable degrees of the future. Every industry will need people who understand how AI behaves, why it fails, and how to work with it.

Nothing alive on Earth can break a carbon-fluorine bond.
That's not a dead end. It's a design brief.

First target: PFOA, one of the most stubborn forever chemicals. We're preparing for wet-lab validation now, lining up expression, assays, and partners. No proof yet. That's what the bench has to settle.

Nothing alive on Earth can break a carbon-fluorine bond. That’s why PFAS never break down.
We’re designing an enzyme to do it anyway.

Today, we're introducing not one but TWO new models, striking the balance between efficiency and quality to enable you to build production AI agents.
— Gemini 3.6 Flash: Addresses efficiency feedback we received from Gemini 3.5 Flash with upgrades in coding, knowledge work, and multimodal tasks faster, more accurately, and with substantially fewer tokens per task
— Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite: Our fastest, most cost-effective 3.5-class model yet built for agentic workflows, hitting ~350 output tokens/sec with improved coding and overall quality
Start building with these today via the Gemini API in @GoogleAIStudio or try them out in the @GeminiApp
in scientific research the oracle would not provide us with any new theory. Not until we already had a theory, and had thought of an experiment that would test it, could we possibly ask the oracle what would happen if the theory were subjected to that test. Thus, the oracle would not be replacing theories at all: it would be replacing experiments. It would spare us the expense of running laboratories and particle accelerators. Instead of building prototype spaceships, and risking the lives of test pilots, we could do all the testing on the ground with pilots sitting in flight simulators whose behaviour was controlled by the predictions of the oracle. - @DavidDeutschOxf
Didn't knew saying hi will also be flagged? @claudeai @DarioAmodei what's going on?

We’re sharing the next major milestone in our non-invasive brain-to-text decoder research: Brain2Qwerty v2.
Building on v1, which was published today in @Nature, Brain2Qwerty v2 is the highest-performing end-to-end pipeline capable of real-time sentence decoding from raw brain signals. It advances beyond character-level performance to decoding words and semantics, enabling accuracy for overall communication.
We believe this research has the potential to make a real difference for the millions of people who suffer from brain lesions or disorders that prevent them from communicating.

Education was once siloed for the elite class in greek temples, now frontier intelligence is been siloed. nothing much changed over the centuries. Are you ready to become the new underclass?
