Why are LSU fans and reporters being so soft? They answered the question that was asked. Are CCU fans and players suppose to worship the ground LSU walks on? Hell no. They are about to play for a National Championship. Sack up and let’s play ball @CondonBeingReal @JacquesDoucet
Media member asks Coastal Carolina players what they like or admire about @LSUbaseball.
Dead silence. Guys glance at each other.
Finally Jacob Morrison answers.
“Not a whole lot.”
Room erupts in laughter. #LSU
People actually think CCU is disrespecting LSU in this clip is crazy.. Why would they admire their opponents? They came to do a job, and LSU is in the way of them completing what they’ve worked for. What a dumb question.
Holy hell… inject this in my veins! @Woody_Woodall3
NIL $ has created selfish, entitled, un-loyal people. Can’t expect someone to have pride for a university when all they want to do is make money and go to the highest bidder.

There’s nothing wrong with college baseball teams who build there rosters from the transfer portal and NIL $
But you better be ready to fight in the postseason when a team full of players who share meal swipes, tarp their own field, and love each other come to town
I miss the days in baseball when teams used bunting, hit & runs, and other strategies to win games. I understand that homers are cool, but if you solely rely on someone hitting a home run to win or tie a ball game then you’re not going to be very successful.
A great coach, and even better man. I wish I could have gotten back to Spartanburg to see you one last time. You will be missed, coach. Rest in Peace.
It's with a very heavy heart that I share with you my Coach, mentor & friend Tim Wallace passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning after a 9-month battle with brain cancer. While his accomplishments were many and his mark on the game was legendary, the amount of lives he impacted was endless & I count myself blessed to have been one of them.
You will be missed Coach,
Austin Alexander

Former @Waccamaw_bsbl assistant coach Tyler Vick has been hired as the next baseball coach at Georgetown High.
Vick replaces Jason West, who resigned last week. West had been head coach for eight years.
In my opinion, the transfer portal is a joke. Loyalty is gone, commitment is out the window, and everyone wants to build super teams. I love the fact that Knaak is sticking with Clemson. It’s refreshing to see guys stay with their staff in today’s landscape of college baseball.

Feel for Chad Holbrook, whose Charleston team went 41-14 and was left out.
Covered Holbrook’s SC team that was 13-17 in the SEC, reached SEC tourney semis, had a 32 RPI and missed the tourney before he got fired.
This year five 13-17 SEC teams made it

Not #SEC related, but Chad Holbrook's College of Charleston team being omitted from the Field Of 64 is criminal.
Closers are a different breed. If you come into a game and shut down a team, especially an SEC team, then you deserve to celebrate. If a hitter can bat flip a home run, pitchers can celebrate after striking out the side to secure a big series win. Whatcha think @bigdonkey47?
If there are any coaches out there that want a hard working, coachable young man, then look no further!
Super athletic, plus defender, and great bat to ball skills. Also, he’s a good teammate/leader!
Super proud of @_owenpowell_ ! Great player, competitor, and even better person! If I could pick one person for my som to emulate, it would be you. Can’t wait to watch you at the next level!
I’ve coached against PJ before but we played Summerville at their field this past season, his coach told me they have to call over to the softball field and tell them PJ is hitting because during BP he hits balls that far. Unreal power & and a great kid. Best of luck! @MorlandoPj
Another Georgetown baseball player off the board! Proud of this kid! @thebigdupe31
Absolute DOG on the mound! Fierce competitor and always wants the ball in big game situations. Also a great student in the classroom! He’s the complete package and if I was a college coach I’d be chomping at the bits to get this guy!
One of the best seasons i’ve ever been apart of! Couldn’t thank all of the seniors and coaches enough for what we’ve accomplished this past year!

Teaching kids about batting average is crippling the youth.
Don’t let a batting average dictate how you approach the game. If you hit the ball on the screws 3 to 4 times a game at someone and get out, you still won the at bat.
Have fun, and COMPETE your tail off everyday.
What an accomplishment for a great coach and an even better man. Congratulations! @OldCoachTW11
