🐈⬛: on this album, no songs that i especially composed went in. but i did receive and listen to all of the demos. the song that i found and allowed to be included was element. i don’t really have a song that i go ‘oh, this is exactly my style’ at. musically, i felt there were more songs that were more my preference on unique. [..] even if i like a song during a demo, there are times when it can fall short once lyrics are added and it’s recorded. it varies from song to song. and honestly, just because you intend it to be one doesn’t mean you’ll end up with a good track.
🧩: does jongseob not really like this kind of electronic music then?
🐈⬛: i like it, but when there are so many elements involved, how they combine to create a certain mood is a different matter to consider, so. for example, in talk that, it’s our first time where we’ve had to pitch up our voices in an album before. when i thought about the pitch up vibes, i had in mind a slower, more laid-back vibe, like yukon. but talk that is a higher tempo song with a strong beat. i wonder if going as far as a pitch-up was a bit over the top, but then again, considering the vibe we were going for, i also think it might have been cooler if we went even more intensely into it. like there are so many fast-paced, chaotic songs in japanese rhythm games and vocaloid music, so i think it could have been even cooler if we had committed more decisively to that direction, even if it meant going for something a little more specialised. so i think we could have made the pitch up higher too.
🐈⬛: but this isn’t self reproaching, it’s self feedback. well, there are various that are a bit regretful with each song, but i can't control all of those things on my own. i’m not working alone, after all, so we have to figure out how to bring everything together.

eu gosto muito da liberdade que o piwon tem com a gente pra falar sobre a relação de TRABALHO, sou kpoper faz um tempo e acho eles um dos grupos mais sinceros sobre isso. o foda é que as vezes essa liberdade faz com que pessoas babacas se sintam no direito de falar qualquer coisa que vem na telha. sinto muito por eles

🐈⬛: of course that’s not it. please don’t take it to that extreme. even if that were the case, for an artist to come out and blurt something like that would be disrespectful to the people who are listening and enjoying the music. even if there are things i’m dissatisfied with, the song has been released, and it's still my song. we should just objectively identify the areas that could have been better, take some feedback, and then go on to make the next album with that in mind!

dai a gente percebe que o fandom de kpop ta muito mais cheio de gente atrás de rostinho bonito e satisfação individual do que de gente realmente interessada em ser fã, apoiar e crescer junto com o artista
