You can’t play the game proper when DJ Muggs doesn’t appear on your “top producer” lists.

Yearly reminder that the toughest and most crucial part about making beats is not finding a low quality MP3 off YouTube but adding the right drums to it. As you were.

Quebec, Canada alone has enough 𝘂𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 hydroelectric clean power to operate the entire #Bitcoin Network. 🌊♻️ Canada as a whole has 400 TWh of hydroelectric capacity. #Bitcoin runs on only 129 TWh.

Can you imagine being a destitute peasent from northern France cultivating carrots, nothing to lose and armed only with your faith in God, making the journey to French Canada in 1623 with the promise of freedom and opportunity under the invitation and blessing of our King Louis XIV ⚜️ (God rest his glorious soul) watching a fifth of your friends die a horrible death on the harrowing journey to Quebec, a frozen and dangerous wasteland, and for lack of prospects you embark on a 4 year journey to the Hudson bay leaving behind your 16 year old wife to bargain beaver pelts with native traders, evading their genocidal Iroquois warrior ennemies, stumbling on fucking Grizzly bears, beasts from hell, fighting off packs of wolves at night around a fire with your flint pistol and tomahawk, nearly drowning in frozen rivers more time that you can count, and after the 5th year you move on to exploring the Mississippi River and accidentally become founder of a settlement that unbeknownst to you later will later becomes a major American town of 40,000 people locally renown for it's bluegrass festival. Not only do you survive 60 winters of hell chewing on bark to prevent scurvy and eating rotten dried fish, but you also acquire an estate of your own with a 100 year contract to supply corn to the diocese, ending your ancestors' eternal serfdom, but also you sire 16 children of which 12 will outlive you, and you die of pneumonia in your bed clutching a mysterious tobacco pouch you acquired on one of your adventures but of which you always refused to speak about, mourned by hundreds of great grandchildren... And from heaven you watch your descendants waiting in line like sheep at the fucking Tim Hortons with 6ft distance stickers on the floors and their vax pass QR codes ready for scanning nervously looking around to duck to the floor at the first sound of a sneeze terrified at the climate becoming a little too warm, begging for the British crown to steal more of their money through taxation to make wood burning fireplaces illegal for their neighbours, and dying alone from a suicide pill in a cardboard cubicle content in the knowledge that they had a perfect credit score.
