If you’re a law firm and not doing this, you’re not a serious person.
As silly as this sounds, this is actually (at least directionally) a really important policy for firms to implement.

Datacenter development but everyone living in an X mile radius gets free power for life. Anyone tried this yet?

There are so many heartbreaking stories to be reread and remembered on this anniversary of Oct 7th. Not sure there is much one can add to find or create meaning. Except one thing, every time. Am Yisroel Chai!

First they came for the software engineers and I said nothing for I was not a software engineer. Then they came for the mathematicians and I said nothing for I was not a mathematician. Then they came for the lawyers and I said "make sure you get all the lawyers"

Would love to see ChatGPT Sites support path-based custom domains. For example: example.com/demo example.com/research example.com/product with each route pointing to a different Site. Bonus points for share settings at the path level, so some Sites can be public while others stay private or restricted. Would make Sites much easier to use as a collection of published work under one domain. @OpenAI @OpenAIDevs @thsottiaux

I really don’t understand why rust can’t make changes to improve compile times. @doodlestein was dealing with this at one point, right?
If Rust fades, my belief is that it will be for this reason

It must be trippy for the @DevinAI team to work on devin inside of devin. The nested browser view would give me a headache.

The ChatGPT web app may just be the worse app I've ever used. Please just converge this to one simple thing.

This makes sense bc coding agents make code changes so frequently that indexing them is impractical. Couple that with code files being text based and it’s simpler to git clone and grep
Wild, even Cursor moved away from server-side RAG index and into Grep-like agent tool calls for code search "we’re no longer computing embeddings of your code or storing them on our servers for search." — Jul 20 huh

Migration complete ✅
I fear that @PlanetScale is as good as advertised and I think despite my apprehensions I may be migrating next week.

Agreed, though I’m less certain about anyone being priced out of software development but they will be priced out of the most intelligent models. Hard agree on cli becoming less relevant especially as more agents move to the cloud. Everything will be MCP.

CNN published nonstop stories about Motaz. Will they now issue a single retraction or apology?
BOMBSHELL: Motaz Azaiza admits he filmed Israeli hostages being beaten in the streets of Gaza on October 7, and deliberately never published it, to protect the identities of the people beating them. He did post other October 7 footage that day, celebrating the attack. He quietly deleted it later. Azaiza is an influential "photojournalist" from Ghazza. TIME named him to the TIME 100. He was nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. CNN, the Guardian and Sky all interviewed him. Ms. Rachel Griffin-Accurso, who has 16 million subscribers, made a video for preschoolers introducing "my friend Motaz." She deleted it later. Two weeks ago, he did a 3 hour and 38 minute interview in Arabic. He made a number of EXTRAORDINARY admissions. 🧵
