The @maydayrooms 'Trees Are Good: Environmental Direct Action' exhibition at Crab Museum in Margate is 🔥 Looking back on high levels of eco-action in relation to trees, tree sits and blockades 90s & 00s. The guy presenting did it all from a harness and rope. Top stuff

When the political imagination is again struggling to find adequate forms, this volume restores 1977 in Italy to its rightful place...an invitation to think again, collectively, about what it might mean to live—and struggle—dangerously today. —Leopoldina Fortunati Pre-order now!

Dopo qualche anno, in cui non ne abbiamo avuto la necessità, torniamo con una breve campagna di donazioni. Un piccolo aiuto per sostenere le nostre spese di operatività: dominio, hosting, hard disk, libri usati. Grazie a chi potrà sostenerci! 🖤 ↓

They also own a collected works of Lenin and Stalin (both long out of print dur to the Eurocommunist turn in L&W in the 70s). While I couldn’t give a shit about this sort of material I imagine there is a huge audience of ML nutbags who would love a new edition of that stuff

Before reprinting the collected works, Pluto would do well to do a flash sale on the thousands of hardback copies still held at Central books and in a lock up in the East of London. That’s if they own the current stock of course and not just the rights!

@johnpmerrick & @PlutoPress Pleased to hear this. However, most of the gold in their back catalogue needs to be scanned - all classic texts (now long out of print) were produced long before the era of desktop publishing and as such have no digital files….

The woman pictured in the photo is not Aline Kominsky, it’s Eden Brower, a member of the East River String Band (alongside Crumb) and a face on the lower east side squatter scene.

The first episode of WORZEL GUMMIDGE (1979) sees the loveable scarecrow come alive for the first time, and it's directed like a scene from an Italian zombie film. Lucio Fulci would approve!
