PSA: You probably aren't using PropertyKey enough. It represents any valid key in JavaScript: string, number or symbol. And it's globally available in every TS project.

React Server Components allow you to call your database directly from a component. And that's great... but how do we make sure this code never ever runs on the client?

If you use React, you should be using a React framework. If your existing app doesn't use a framework, you should incrementally migrate to one. If you're creating a new React project, you should use a framework from the beginning.

It's amazing how similar React hooks and Vue composables are at first glance. But the way they work is the inverse! 😲 In React, hooks run on each render. useMemo/useCallback to recompute only when needed. In Vue, composables run only once. Use computed to recompute on change.
