these people are simultaneously terrifying and extremely pathetic at the same time and being around them is like having a gun to your head. they never want to get help because they can’t possibly be the problem.
i don’t think it was narcissism for me but i was totally unprepared for my first serious encounter with a person with a full-blown personality disorder. they did things it would never have occurred to me a person could do. radically altered my sense of the true depths of human misery and dysfunction and sin. it’s an experience that stays with you

The Supreme Court burns to the ground in Albania, Parliament and the Department of Education has been stormed, the Prime Minister is in hiding and the country is effectively in the hands of the rebels.
Albania rejects blatant corruption and their country being sold.
"The French uprisings will amount to nothing, thus no political engagement is needed with them" is an admission your own fruitless anti-politics. Your entire political being is in service of smugly declaring "called it" should repression shatter the momentum. It's detestable.

Unlike most thinkers of his day Marx knew the real symbolic power and meaning of architecture. each building makes legible political and material forces and relationships within class societies. When they burn something else always burns too

Look at the streets of France, Italy, and Albania. The message is clear: organize, disobey, and rise. The empire is crumbling, and the only path forward is total, unapologetic insurrection. Power to the people. Take it back.
