You apply today but you’re not hired tomorrow? Of course not!
Day 0: They share an open role
Day 1: You apply
Day 3: They finally review apps that came in
Day 6: They’ve booked/taken first round interviews
Day 9: Internal discussion/2nd round
Day 10: Offer out, maybe?
This is why it’s important to stick to what you control. Application volume.
This is not accounting for weekends/holidays
Slow at first, but the interviews will roll in, truss
Work with me 1-1, get the winning blueprint: serialsalescommunity.co?utm_…
2 apps per day shows that this is important to you
3 shows you’re committed, but busy
5 shows you’re actively pushing into this
10 shows you’re all-in
10+ shows you have a concerning amount of free time
If you can quit your job to go all-in with remote setting/closing, it is infinitely easier to find success
Schedule limitations/restrictions are the main reason people struggle to be considered in this space for the roles they want
That + hesitancy to leave a cozy base pay and commit to something 100% performance based
Not sales experience
It’s harder if you don’t have access to roles to begin with. I source them for you. 32/day on average over the last 12 months to be exact: serialsalescommunity.co?utm_…
Ok so you’re breaking into high-ticket sales, and you’ve sold in another industry before
You call yourself a setter? You’re right
You call yourself a closer? You’re also right
While one may be more within reach than the other, the way you present yourself dictates where you land
How you dictate yourself should be based on the unique situation you’re entering into this market with
Establishing your unique situation (foundation) while not fully understanding this world is where most go wrong
Then they fall flat, and take that as a representation of this industry as a whole
Sad
I will literally walk you through this because time is money and you know it: serialsalescommunity.co?utm_…
A shitty zoom setup will completely undermine any level of sales experience that you’ve got
Gave feedback to a recent TSSC guy on this. He’s got 15 years of biz ownership and high-level sales experience, but he’s new to the remote world.
I don’t think he gave it much thought, but his background was terrible in a sample loom he recorded for review
Ruined my entire perception of him as a killer sales rep (gave him this feedback and it improved)
Don’t let your background anchor you to roles you’re overqualified for
Get your resume + loom manually reviewed and fixed by me: serialsalescommunity.co?utm_…
You guys are not ready to see this single mom of 4 $10k/mo interview I'm dropping soon 😂
Yet another Two-Piece Tuesday sent off to the list this AM
Breaking down a $10k/mo closing role for a boutique hotel mastermind and an SDR gig for one of the most solid founders I know in the AI space. 1099 with a $60k base
Already getting a ton of positive feedback, if you want to see the deets go below to check it out 👍
Replying to @serialsales
$11k closing beats most AI agency retainers. But what's his cost per lead?
Most closers scale headcount. I'd automate the follow-up first.
Hard to compete with the mid day outdoor work break
Grab bike, go pick up a DC, head to local park, use notebook
Pair this up with a 4 hour work block before and after 5 days/wk and watch the cash flow into ur bank account
How to vet a remote closing role

Got a new TSSC member a shot at a role where another member has earned $50,000/mo as a closer, and is on track to beat it this month
The guy had years and years of solar sales + mgmt experience. $15k bad months for him over there.
Came into TSSC with the skill, looking for connects and opportunities. Tired of traveling for blitzes, wants to be around for family
He’s in our live call, the guy on the offer jumps in talking about how he’s looking for more reps, and our ex-solar pal is literally the best fit for the job based on sales acumen, so I make the intro
Being new to this industry, it would have been SO difficult for him to be acknowledged for a role of this caliber as a cold applicant in a pool of 100’s
But by being in TSSC, he bridged the gap just by showing up to an open floor call
Simple not easy
