JEV actually doesn't even run deterministically
Exact same prompts give you different probabilities when you run it multiple times
The ORDER of the choices DRASTICALLY changes the output probs
I am more and more confused by the their "no-hallucination" claim
Guys it’s a misconception that Jev can’t hallucinate
It’s a non-generative LM ie it models probabilities of things given language as context
The guarantee is the type-safety, and that answers are deterministic - ie no stochastic sampling. The deterministic answers can still be confidently wrong!
It can still hallucinate if the training data on the topic was under cooked
I claimed the "sergeysova" handle on @ThePirateFace 🏴☠️

"Rust for infra and Go for web," nah. Don't even bother with Go. Just use Rust for everything.
This is a serious privacy and due-process issue: an automated or unexplained flag should not force legitimate players to disclose highly sensitive identity documents just to access matchmaking.
At minimum, users deserve a meaningful manual review and a non-doc ownership check.
@FACEITSupport @FACEIT, please escalate this case to Account Integrity and review the flag manually.
We are asking for a clear explanation, a fair appeal process and access to the account without unnecessary disclosure of passport data.

My favorite change we made to @pgrustdb is how we rearchitected parallel queries. Postgres decides a fixed degree of parallelism at plan time. For pgrust, we assign cpus to queries dynamically. For beefy machines with many cores, this results in a massive speedup

Human-in-the-Loop.
#1. The web just got a little more intelligent. 🤟
Meet `contrast-color()`: You give it any color; it returns either `black` or `white`, whichever provides better contrast. ⤵️

Migrating from Go 🐹 to Rust 🦀
A great practical guide for Go developers moving to Rust: how familiar Go patterns map to Rust, what changes with ownership, Option, Result, traits and concurrency.
