24 years ago today, I did my very first PEP Call. The then-exec director did not want to hire me. She and the then-owner argued about it. Then the owner sent me a call off the cuff. Seasoned client. Called the owner back to say I’d delivered one of the best calls he’d ever experienced. Sometimes, people don’t want you to succeed, but you do anyway. Sometimes, they can see how much better you are and they try to prevent you from the path they can guard. Sometimes, they lose. And you win. Mil gracias to EVERYONE who has called me, supported me, worked for my @PEP_Connections, and made the world of PEP a better place. Xo
