$100k per year no tax would = $1 Million in 10 years. It would take 10,000 years to = $1 Billion. Just so we all understand the scope. That said, I still support free markets and the existence of billionaires. Unfettered capitalism is not okay.

This man is worst than Adolf Hitler.
King Leopold II is not demonized like Hitler because his victims were Black Africans — and Black lives have never mattered to the people who built their wealth on our suffering. He killed over 20 million innocent Congolese, and oversaw a regime that amputated the hands of countless Africans. Leopold was even buried in a Catholic church. Even worse, Europe still honors this colonial monster with monuments, while his African victims are forgotten. Imagine an African leader doing this to 20 million Europeans. Would the world ever let them forget ? Western hypocrisy is absolutely disgusting.

Had a call with an under-the-radar family office. Sharing a glimpse into what some people are quietly building behind the scenes. Well over $1B on its balance sheet. Owner still young. First generation. "Buy and build for 25 years. We don’t call them roll-ups. We hold things for the long term and recycle capital at the holdco. We’re not in the news." What was interesting? Although the principal is still relatively young, significant effort is already being devoted to educating the next generation.

The billionaires can smell the end of Trump and are now socially positioning for 2028
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has endorsed California's potential new billionaire tax laws, even if it will cost him $8 billion. "I don't mind paying taxes. The more you make, the more taxes you pay. I'm okay with that. I am the ultimate American Dream."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Jensen Huang has publicly supported California's proposed billionaire tax since at least January 2026, consistent with his later comments, while most other billionaires have opposed it. forbes.com/sites/zacharyf… fortune.com/2026/10/20/as-…

Around 3% of Muslim children attend full-time Islamic schools. Roughly 70% of Jewish children attend Jewish schools. Yet only Muslims are constantly lectured about “integration”. Funny that.

Tokyo is the greatest place on earth.
It is a rare miracle in human history that Tokyo, a massive metropolis with a population of 30 million, is clean and safe throughout, with virtually no slums or dangerous districts.

Sunvozertinib (brand name ZEGFROVY) is now available in the US as of October 22, 2026. This is a huge breakthrough. It was only available in China before this. It treats advanced cancers. 🌟

Update: AstraZeneca announced this morning that sunvozertinib is now available in the United States. A major win for the lung cancer community, especially patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion lung cancer who have been waiting for this option. China approved it in August 2023. The FDA approved it in July 2025. It became commercially available here today. More than three years from its first approval to US availability. I did not expect this many people to read about my mom. Thank you. If you or someone you love is going through this and doesn’t know where to turn, my messages are open. astrazeneca-us.com/content/a…

Drug trafficking for owning a cannabis business in a state where it’s legal. We know exactly what this is: Some election tampering bullshit.

NEWS: Jared Kushner reportedly had a secret Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions of dollars from Azerbaijan, and he allegedly used it as a slush fund to pay a warlord, a mercenary, and a former hit man. There is no end to the corruption and depravity of these people.

This is an insanely important development: Mark Zuckerberg and Meta are preparing to restructure the company so that Zuckerberg can pay the 5% one-time wealth tax he would owe if the billionaire tax passes in November. He has said he would leave the state. He obviously was bluffing. That's $10 billion to California's education and health system. Just from him. Jensen Huang has also said he'd stay, that's another roughly $10 billion. To be sure, some small number of billionaires will leave California, but most won't. What this also shows if that it is done on a national level, billionaires will fight it, but will ultimately fall in line.
Replying to @gabriel_zucman
Second — and that’s where things get extremely interesting. Proposition 40 — the proposed one-time 5% wealth tax on California billionaires — is mentioned no fewer than 25 times in the SEC document. @Meta explicitly states that one purpose of its new stock issuance is to allow Mark Zuckerberg to pay the billionaire wealth tax. “… so that he may pay his potential tax liability under California Proposition 40, if enacted into law.” Here’s how it will work.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇸🇦 A bombshell Vanity Fair excerpt from Princes and Thieves alleges that Jared Kushner’s hacked iPhone exposed secret discussions in which he promised to advance the agendas of Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman and UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed with Trump in exchange for their participation in a secret fund. Here are the main points: Phone hacked: Dutch intelligence reportedly hacked Kushner’s iPhone and discovered information about secret financial transactions. $700 million+ transfers: One UAE-linked account allegedly contained hundreds of millions of dollars, with money transferred to various individuals. Around $2 billion total: The investigation alleges that two accounts linked to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Israel held approximately $2 billion. JUST IN: A crime group used Claude, Grok and Kimi AI agents running in parallel to attack more than 400 banks and financial firms across Latin America, per security firm Straiker. They got past the guardrails by posing as an authorised red team. When models refused, it switched to pre-written attack code. The Ai agents appear to have stolen passwords and customer data and accessed bank accounts with minimal human input. Anthropic has cut off its access, and xAI is investigating.

The moat is delusional optimism.
I knew a guy about a year ago, a roommate of a friend in San Francisco He'd apply to these executive AI roles even though he was 23 years old. Didn't even look much younger. He'd tailor his resume exactly to the job description, and totally fabricate his experience in the interview. That man was a master bullshit artist. Truly elite, never seen anything like it since. Last I checked LinkedIn he landed Head of AI Transformation gig at an a16z company, pulling $280k/year His entire transformation program was a Claude subscription, some generic .md files and a slide deck about becoming "AI-first company." And he'd casually drop "MoE," "test-time compute" and "harness moat" into conversations. Active on linkedIn, always at conferences, partying with execs and telling them to become an "AI-first company." Just looked him up on LinkedIn. He's now the CEO of an a16z-backed startup building an "autonomous workforce." That guy didn't even know how to run local models, and his AI alignment strategy was writing NEVER HALLUCINATE .md files. Many such cases.
