Maggie is still living her best life. Best anti-depressant I’ve ever seen, despite that she repeatedly attacks me.

One year later, and Maggie has somehow grown lazier, but still likes to fight.

So far the year has been a success, as I gained firsthand experience that proved Whataburger is superior in every way to Mid-N-Out Burger. Life is all about experiences, and few are as fulfilling as Whataburger, especially now that the Monterey Melt is back, it’s divinity.

It’s snowing. In the words of my forefathers, “goddammit!”

Had some extra work done to it, mostly to keep it looking good for a long period so I don’t need a new car for years. The result is Army Miata 2.0, complete with window tints that look even better than I’d expected it would.

My ever faithful Miata has concluded its dedicated service after just over two years, an end of an era which brings about the next phase of life….

From the era of the Miata to the era of the Miata. I know, I don’t change a whole lot, I don’t question what works.

Holy hell I come back onto twitter and find twelve more bots followed me in the last few days. Guess I'm going back to perma-locked tweets.

Sitting in this room last night I heard a voice in the room across the hall from me, and of course, nobody was in that room. After a surprisingly long pause in weird activities, it looks like my long game of "Is This Shit Haunted?" may get to resume. I'm excited.

We've hit that point now in my town that apart from a lot of the trees we were used to now being absent, it's almost impossible to tell how badly that tornado damaged so much at the end of May. Everything has been cleaned and repaired, and life goes on.

I got my 100% disabled veteran tax exemption from the state of Oklahoma a week ago and I finally used it today. It was listed on the receipt as "Tax Forgiven." This legitimately makes taxes sound like they're nothing more than a punishment, they seriously need a better word.

You know what I learned in the last week? NES controllers were tiny little bastards! That will take some getting used to.

Still looks fairly bad out there, but visuals are all that really remains abnormal, with the rest of life having by this point long returned to normal.

Walked towards the bathroom and looked into the living room on the way and realized it was more lit up than before and I thought "wait, why can I see in there so well?" Someone forgot the sun comes up in the morning. Sometimes I swear that the blonde is terminal.

I just got badly trolled during a CV2 practice run. My time went from being 30 ahead to 20 behind because of awful drop RNG mid-game, then one boss wasted 40 more seconds or so just floating at the top dropping tears. It's good to be able to laugh at this stuff, it's funny.🤣

Looks a lot better out here, huh? Almost like a tornado didn’t just destroy a lot of it two weeks ago. It’s not the same as it had always been, but at least it’s nice and peaceful again. Sometimes change comes, but as long as peace comes back I think it’ll be alright regardless.

Do remember, I think you’re all great! I carefully curate who can see my posts, so either I think you’re wonderful or you at least appear to be interesting if I don’t know you more directly. You all make this hellsite a bit more nice and homey. 😂

So it’s 7am-ish and my nocturnal ass is tired. But I have a massive storm cell coming in soon. I’ve learned that a potential side effect of taking a tornado straight to the face is a new irrational anxiety towards other intimidating-looking storm cells. Goddammit. 😆

Power has been restored at home finally, so I’ve left the hotel and can stop my $200 per day survival costs. I’ll drop in a couple of before and after sets of images, showing a couple of parts of my yards before and after the cleanup process. It’s been nuts out here.

No power at home yet, so I’ve been living the hotel life. There has been a lot to clean up, a lot more needing to be cleaned up or repaired. Lost a few good trees completely, that part hit the hardest for me. If anyone finds the owner of this door, tell them it was in our yard.

The brighter it gets, the worse it looks. Estimates for power being restored average about a week because the whole city is out, including the hospital, which takes priority. Good to know about when comfort can come back, but bad to know it’s so far out.
