Davis & Elkins ended Charleston's six-year run at Saturday's MEC Cross Country Championships in Wheeling. The Senators' Jan Thewes won the race and earned MEC Runner of the Year honors, while D&E head coach Jason Pyles was named the league's Coach of the Year.
