Europe often sees Ukraine only as a victim. That is a dangerous oversimplification.
Ukraine is a major military power in its own right. For the last two centuries, most so-called russian victories depended heavily on Ukraine.
Against Napoleon Bonaparte, the Russian Empire relied on Ukrainian manpower, food supplies, horses, and Cossack cavalry. Against Adolf Hitler, millions of Ukrainians fought in the Red Army, while Ukrainian industry, agriculture, and territory were decisive for Soviet victory.
The same pattern appeared in darker chapters of European history. The partition of Poland, the Warsaw Pact’s military threat, the war against Finland, and even the war in Afghanistan were all enabled by imperial armies that included massive Ukrainian participation.
In the USSR, the most advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles were designed and manufactured in Ukraine and serviced by Ukrainians until 2014. Ukrainians made up roughly 40% of Soviet army officers in the 1980s. The world’s largest cargo aircraft was built in Ukraine. russia wants all of this back — and without Ukraine, its missiles now explode on roughly every second launch.
Ukraine also possesses around 30% of the world’s black soil, the most fertile agricultural land on Earth — an enormous source of strategic leverage. In addition, Ukraine holds major mineral resources, including uranium, ranking among the top ten countries globally by uranium reserves.
History shows a simple rule: russia looks strongest when it controls Ukraine.
If russia absorbs Ukraine today, Europe will not face a tired or weakened aggressor. It will face the strongest and most experienced army on the continent — reinforced by Ukrainian manpower, battlefield experience, and industrial capacity.
“Without Ukraine, russia ceases to be an empire. With Ukraine suborned and then subordinated, russia automatically becomes an empire.” — Zbigniew Brzezinski
Ukraine can become the backbone of Europe’s defense against russia. Or, if left unsupported, it can be forcibly absorbed — and then brought to Europe’s doorstep.
Supporting Ukraine is not charity. It is strategic self-defense.

Islamic Republic gets carte blanche for foreign help in #IranMassacre—no one blinks an eye.
▪️China: Starlink jamming tech
▪️Russia: Anti-riot gear/training
▪️Iraq: Proxy militias aiding massacre
But when we ask for help to level the field, suddenly it’s “foreign interference.”

The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.
today i had a training at work and the lecturer said "we no longer need artistic talent to draw or to sing" 😒 she said it with such audacity, like gen ai is not just a copypasting machine with extra steps. yeah who even needs human artistry, let everything be fake. bonkers

The US declassified exchanges between US President Bush and Putin from 2008 in which Putin already called Ukraine an „artificial“ state, clearly denying its right for existence.
This is years before the war started and should remind us once again that Putin always wanted to take Ukraine. It also says that this war will never end with Putin in the Kremlin. It will go on until he is removed, permanently, and Russia fully dislodged. Everything else is just noise.

“When you see Trump with Putin, as I have on a few occassions, he’s like the 12-year old boy that goes to high school and meets the captain of the football team. ‘My hero!’ It’s really creepy.” @TurnbullMalcolm , 29th Prime Minister of Australia.

Of course Putin “liked” Kushner — autocrats always adore the soft-spoken guy who walks into the room already desperate to impress them.
It’s the oldest trick in the Kremlin: flatter the naïve one, isolate the insecure one, purchase the ambitious one.
And the Trump clan treats it like a job interview.
Smiles, nods, handshakes — while a hostile regime studies exactly how to bend an American family around its finger.
This isn’t diplomacy.
It’s infiltration disguised as compliments.
How many times does Putin have to praise these people before America finally asks the real question:
why does the Kremlin always walk away from these meetings happier than we do?

“Exploiting the abducted Ukrainian children, the russians are preparing a new army for conducting occupation wars.
It sounds horrific and seems unbelievable. However, the russians have created an unprecedented system of camps for the militarization and "re-education" of Ukrainian children.
Over three years of full-scale war, the occupiers have created more than 210 institutions where Ukrainian children (including very young ones - from approximately 8 years old) are taught to assemble drones, throw grenades, shoot, and participate in combat readiness drills.
In these institutions, children are also subjected to ideological processing: they hold meetings with "SVO veterans," teach rewritten history, and force them to forget their roots.
russia will not stop. Even now, it is preparing future reinforcements for its forces. They do not want any peace or any negotiations.
So the only possible option is to stop russia by force and bring back our children.”

It’s wild that the Czech president says the price of Ukraine’s independence could be its partial occupation. But partial occupation means No independence.
Russia will never settle for just a part. It will always be hungry for more.
The same thing happened with Hitler in 1938, when he was given part of Czechoslovakia just before World War II. The Czech president should remember how that ended. It’s the history of his own country, after all.
Letting Russia take part of Ukraine is the fastest way to start World War III.
