I should also share a personal update. mostly I'm on the journey of being a single parent for the 1st time, while navigating the complicated feels of a teenager who has suffered major loss. It's hard but all things considered, we are doing well. Surrounded by love and support.

I know I'm quiet on twitter these days... but most of what I've been up to professionally is working with an amazing team to tackle some pretty remarkable milestones. Couldn't be more proud or enthusiastic to keep growing and learning.

i love working in a remote-first company. i would be shocked if I ever work in an office again. but being in any management role, in a remote company (with mostly EU/US/CA folks), when you live on the west coast… is consistently brutal.

for the third time since school started I have received a notification that the teenbot’s bus isn’t running this AM. At least this time, my son wasn’t standing by the side of the road at the time. We need to do better for our families. Getting kids to school is a low bar.

Someone in my life once referred to a moment as being jelly-side-down (like when you drop 1/2 of a PB&J sandwich before you can close it). such a great description. That is my life right now, a bit jelly-side-down. please forgive me for being a bit quiet. ♥️

which is worse… spending the weekend as the only designated visitor allowed at a loved one’s bedside in the hospital? Or knowing that Monday no visitors will be allowed because of COVID and all of those patients in pain will be alone? #wearamotherfuckingmask #getvaccinated

in stressful times & when left to my own devices (not required to feed other beings) i turn into a garbage human. Take questionably good steamed broccoli from several days ago and combine with shitty boxed mac & cheese, smother in sriracha and pray.

also… gymnastics is one of those sports that never leaves you. i dedicated years to my love for it. it taught me patience, persistence, grace, strength, and how to compete with oneself. also… it was just fun. 😊🙃
