My Wow Forever Launch Leveling plan.
WoW Forever will launch November 5th 12AM in Germany.
I will play whenever I find time and am in the mood to play
for an average of 1 hour per day.
Raids will open 35 days after launch, so accounting for some server downtimes and other unforseen events, I will have about 34 hours of playtime to:
>have fun
>level professions
>do dungeons with friends
>explore the world
1) I'll be Leveling by questing with some extra dungeon runs for fun.
I care about quest texts, lore and shit- I think it's awesome.
Total playtime: ~300h
2) Once I'm max level:
Keep enjoying the game. Roll some alts with friends. Try out a raid. Keep exploring the zones and level professions.
Total playtime: ~1000h
3) Farming pre-raid BiS will not be necessary:
I'll run tank/dps dual spec and open and group up with kind people who want to enjoy the content together.
And I can just not invite any toxic players-.
Total playtime: ~15h
4) Farming gold is completely optional and will only be done when I feel like it.
I'll be reaching lvl 60 very late- which gives me a huge advantage in that I have massively enjoyed my journey there.
I'm also gonna dabble into the Auction house.
Total playtime: ~4h.
So, two years into WoW Forever at about 730h playtime I will be ready to raid.
What am I gonna do afterwards?
I will get PWNED relentlessly while trying out PvP.
Actually, it's not me who is gonna get pwned.
After all, I have transcended min/maxxing a long time ago.
It will be all my friends I made along the way and I who will receive a good beating by the dirty Alliance.
My Wow Forever Launch Leveling plan.
WoW Forever will launch November 5th 7AM in Shanghai.
I will play everyday between
6-10AM,
1-4PM,
and 8PM-1AM
for a total of 12 hours per day.
Raids will open 35 days after launch, so accounting for some server downtimes and other unforseen events, I will have about 400 hours of playtime to:
>reach level 60
>max professions
>farm pre-raid BiS gear dungeon gear
>farm gold for Epic mount
1) I'll be Leveling 1-60 using RestedXP with some extra dungeon runs for fun.
I don't care about quest texts, lore and shit- I think it's gay.
Total playtime: ~130h
2) Once I'm max level:
Getting Mining and Herbs to 300 for money making, then switching to whatever is the fotm profession.
Total playtime: ~15h
3) Farming pre-raid BiS will be fast:
I'll run tank/healer dual spec and open and fill my own groups quickly.
And I can just not invite any leather wearing bastards competing for my gear.
Total playtime: ~15h
4) Farming 1000g for epic mount and another 1000g for a comfortable bank of raid consumes.
I'll be reaching lvl 60 quite early- which gives me a huge competitive advantage for farming rare high level mats.
I'm also a highly skilled Auction house flipper and investor.
Total playtime: ~40h.
So, two weeks into WoW Forever at about 200h playtime I will be ready to raidlog.
What am I gonna do the other 200hours until raids open?
I will PWN NOOBS relentlessly.
Actually, it's not me who is gonna pwn them.
After all, I have transcended PvP long time ago.
It will be my loyal servants who will give the dirty Hordes a good beating.

just to set the record straight:
building Sett started after the feb layoffs, he wasn't always planned or delayed. he's coming out (along with The Climb) because the dev team took a big swing, rallied (despite half the team being gone) and built him in 6mo

Based take. PvP servers are the best if you are partaking in the world over the long run. If you want to live and breathe World of Warcraft, you run PvP server.
If you're a dad with 3 wives, 47 kids and 8 jobs with 2minutes a day, or you are shit at PvP, just play PvE or RP.
Anyways, see you guys on the PvE/RP server.
Gerade die WC3 Reign of Chaos Kampagne beendet.
