Dear @Felly_Nelson, greetings to you our former anti-Galamsey activist who has turned an NDC government communicator. Today, as we speak, there’s been some development with regard to the @thebankofghana’s Operational Expenses that I think should be brought to your attention. 1. Foreign & Domestic Travels (Official Travels) has ballooned from GH¢97.4 million to GH¢140.7 million [44.4% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. 2. Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Running has ballooned from GH¢131.6 million to GH¢186.4 million [41.6% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. 3. Banking Supervision Expenses has ballooned from GH¢357.9 million to GH¢1.12 billion [212.9% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. 4. Director’s Renumeration (Directors’ Fees) has ballooned from GH¢8.6 million to GH¢10.4 million [20.9% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. 5. Communication Expenses (Electronic Data Transmission) has ballooned from GH¢32 million to GH¢83.5 million [160.9% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. 6. Computer Related Expenses (Information Technology & Licenses) has ballooned from GH¢67.9 million to GH¢309.8 million [355.2% increase] in an economy with a lower exchange rate and a lower inflation. Felicity, can you find a better noun than ‘thievery’ for this development today?
