The most commonly used drug for intravenous conscious sedation is Midazolam, which belongs to the same family of drugs as Valium💉
•
In order to produce a better quality of sedation, our sedationists may decide to use a combination of drugs in controlled and titrated doses📊
It’s important to address your dental anxiety as avoiding the dentist can result in poorer dental hygiene and an increased risk of needing emergency care🪥
•
If you’re experiencing dental anxiety, or have a patient who is, get in contact to find out how we can help📩
Tuesday Tools: Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor💼

Our sedationists monitor and record their patient’s blood pressure throughout the sedation, alongside numerous other vital signs to ensure their wellbeing🩺
It might be National Relaxation Day today💤, but it’s always a relaxing day when there’s sedation involved… just ask our patients!😅
