John Poulakidas (Waived - Mavericks) is the rare 6’6” lefty wing whose shooting profile has translated at every level: 40.2% from three on 604 attempts over four years at Yale (second-most makes in program history), 47.3% on high volume in the G League, and a clean 40.3% (2.4 makes per game) across 13 NBA appearances with the Mavericks. The stroke is pure and quick—no-dip, high-arc, feet-set catch-and-shoot that extends to movement and side-step threes—giving him the gravity of a true floor spacer rather than a low-volume specialist. For any NBA team thin on perimeter creation or needing to stretch defenses around a primary scorer, he is an immediate, low-cost gravity piece who forces closeouts, opens driving lanes, and has already shown he can punish them at volume when the opportunities arrive.
