Congratulations to @secondandseven, the recipient of August’s Future Days Fund grant! Nominating Ten Club member Josh W. shares more about the nonprofit organization: “I've been active with this foundation since I was a volunteer in college to becoming a board member. The foundation promotes reading! 2nd & 7 has donated over 1.2 million books to kids in need all across the country since it started in 1999. By engaging thousands of college and high-school student-athlete volunteers across the country, we are inspiring the next generation of readers and leaders. The school year is winding down and today’s @secondandseven visit was courtesy of the PHS Track and XC teams. The 2nd graders heard a story about how important sportsmanship is and not just the outcome on the scoreboard. They all went home with another Hog Mollies book! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽💨📚
