Second Thunder - Open Combat Skimish Rules

👀 looks at last time I posted on Twitter. (I thought I’d been a while off the radar recovering from various health events and surgeries but blimey!)

It's been a very long time but I'm finally back in a position to make some noise again. Here's what's been going on... secondthunder.com/blogs/news…

Thanks to everyone for their support that dropped by the Second Thunder stand 1-1036 on Saturday (day two) of @UKGamesExpo Going into to day three! Be sure to check out Lucrum and a Open Combat before the show ends! 🙂

A little bit of information about Lucrum the two player strategy board game.

Day two @UKGamesExpo about to start. Lucrum strategy board game and Open Combat miniature skirmish game available at Stand 1-1036. Come and have a looksee!

I’m at stand 1-1036 in Hall 1. Simply walk on down Warhammer Avenue, take a right at Stafford Street and you’ll see me from there on (Mythic Avenue)! Lucrum strategy board game joins Open Combat for sale at the show!

I'm in Hall 1 too at stand 1036, releasing Lucrum, a new two player strategy game at the show. It might be something you guys would like take a look at - I've taken an unusual approach to production and presentation with it. Would be great to have a chat! :)

One of the cool things about developing Lucrum was leaning into the theme with the design of the look and feel. Lucrum is packaged like this…

Lucrum, a two player strategy board game where you compete to accumulate the most wealth to claim the throne launches at @UKGamesExpo next week! You can preorder it now. For information about how it plays see this introductory rundown: secondthunder.com/blogs/news…

I’m at Partizan in Newark today (my stand is just to the right of Wargames Foundry). I’ve got the first looksee of Lucrum with me, my new two player strategy board game which goes up for preorder on Monday (when the new site goes live). Come and have a chat about it! 😀

I’m at Hammerhead in Newark today! Stand TD20 on the back wall opposite the entrance.

I’m at Vapnartak in York today! I’m at stand 32 on the first mezzanine. First show of 2022. :)

I'm at stand T7 today at The Other Partizan. Hopefully see some you you here. (I'm behind the camera in the shot, not hiding under the table) 🙂

Owing to a cancellation I'll be at The Other Partizan at the Newark Showground, UK tomorrow! Huzzah! I've marked the general whereabouts on the map, it's a bit low resolution so if you head to where the canteen is I'm next to the seating area! Hopefully see some of you there!

With the slow motion changes for trade between the UK and the EU I need to make some pretty significant changes to the Second Thunder Website. So in July the website will be switched to a holding page for a few weeks while a rebuild and testing occurs behind the scenes.

I'll be at Hammerhead on 31st July. You'll be able to play using the Open Combat Black Powder rules in a Pirate Treasure Hunt participation game to celebrate the release of the Black Powder supplement on that week too! :)
