I think @thsottiaux may owe a reset to all $100 and $200 Pro subscribers left out of the elite tier.
I never thought they’d lock Sol Ultrafast to $500 only, it makes no sense to give Astra to $200 plan but not Sol Ultrafast when it is very nearly the same API cost.
Are calls with Dots not working yet? 😢 I really wanted to talk to him, but it just stays on "calling."
Today is Devday, the question we all ask ourselves is "Will Opean AI be able to launch a model at the height of Opus 5.5? There will be those who believe that yes, others who do not.
But the reality is that, "+20 launches" and that none is anything like that, would be frankly disappointing.
What do you think?
You look great! But we all know the best is yet to come at the OpenAI Dev Day
GPT-6 Sol and Luna are out. Not only are they a very significant improvement across the board, but also in writing and general "you know when you try it" quality.
We are also permanently reducing the API price by 50% making both of them viable for a ton of new usecases and making your usage go further too, even on the subscriptions.
And one more thing. We are loading a banked reset into all accounts of our Plus, Pro and Business users. Let's go!

Opus 5.5 just dropped and it beats Fable 5.1 across the board, and outperforms Astra (yes, OpenAI's most powerful model to date) on almost everything. How will they respond? I'm eager for the release of GPT-6, SOL, LUNA, and Astra Minor... we'll see.
The day's official releases have officially begun!!!.🚀
Does anyone else's Gemini desktop app in Windows not open once it has closed? In a way you use it, you close it completely and then when you want to open it it simply doesn't open anymore.
Hey, I'm 23, a founder from Peru. 😼
I'd love to connect with other founders and people who are into AI. I know you've probably scrolled past 3,500 posts exactly like this one, but what if we started a group with everyone who's into this? A community of people who share the same passion.
Would you join?

Anyone know the best setup for orchestrating multiple agents? Been testing this out and my instinct says Astra Medium should be the orchestrator with Luna Max or X-High handling execution.
But I've seen mixed takes, some people say Luna fails a lot and creates a ton of rework, and that it might be better to swap it out for Astra Low as the executor instead.
Curious what others are seeing. What's working for you?

I had to picture a cup of coffee to understand OpenAI’s announcement.
Stir it and you get a little whirlpool. The Navier-Stokes equations describe how that fluid moves.
The question is whether a fluid can start with smooth, regular motion and develop a singularity in finite time.
It helped me to imagine a whirlpool getting smaller and spinning faster, with its speed growing beyond any limit. That’s a way to picture the idea, not something that’s going to happen in your cup.
OpenAI says its AI found a mathematical construction where a singularity forms. It uses a specific external force, which matters when you’re talking about what they claim to have solved.
I’I think this has flown under the radar given how big a deal it could be.
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

Has anyone managed to create ads with incredible motion graphics using Astra + Hyperframes or something similar? I'd like to read about it; many of us are wondering if that level has been reached yet.
Well, so it seems it was true. We won't hear about Astra for a few more days—kind of a bummer, because I think I'm speaking for everyone (or almost everyone) when I say we were pretty hyped to try it out today.
We are starting to release GPT-6 Astra and we are doing it as carefully and quickly as possible. It was very important to us that we bring it to all Plus users and not only Pro, Business and Enterprise.
It will take a few days for the rollout to complete and behind the scenes many novel systems will operate at scale for the first time and we are bringing a lot of compute up.
It is pure magic.

Seriously Open AI I think so much hype for a private release? Brother, if that's the case, it would be very disappointing coming from a company that always gave me the feeling that it thinks about its users, I want to think that it's not true…
