tonicholumpi IG Update I had the opportunity to direct the pilot episode of a GMMTV series called PIT STOP, which is about two motorcycle racers competing against each other to become number one 🏍️, all amidst friendship and love. That was quite a long introduction, just to say that I got to return to an environment I grew up in. When I was very young, my father, Manu, was an exceptional racing driver who was second to none. Naturally, I had to follow him around to racing circuits from a very young age. It started with the 24-hour Grand Prix race at Hua Mak, then continued at the Asiana circuit in Pattaya, where we went every weekend for many years. Back then, the racing tracks were still made of dirt and gravel. This continued until the opening race at Bira Circuit. The last place my father competed at was the airport in Lopburi (not counting the rally race from Chiang Mai to Singapore). So, coming back to work on this project felt like revisiting memories from my childhood. But this time, Chang International Circuit in Buriram was absolutely magnificent and built to such high standards. I was really happy to be there. I'm happy to have been part of this project, even if it was only for the pilot episode. The cast and crew were incredibly talented. Everyone kept running around non-stop from morning until late at night, yet still had smiles on their faces. P.S. I wasn't just directing either. I was also driving the car that carried the camera setup, wearing a walkie-talkie headset and monitoring the footage on the screen inside the car. I'm a hybrid; I can do many things! 😅 P.P.S.
