everyone has one project they still bring up unprompted, mine is $LOUD. not for the money, i've made peace with that part already. it's the reasoning that still gets me. the pitch was simple, reward people for real engagement instead of ignoring them, and i wanted that to be true badly enough to stop asking questions. so for two weeks i turned into a full time poster, threads in the morning, memes at night, checking the chart between literally everything else. a friend asked if i was working for the project at this point, i said no, knowing full well i basically was. it hit an all time high and i held, convinced it was just getting started. then it dropped 99% and kept dropping, and i kept telling myself it would turn around. it didn't turn around. what bothered me more than the loss was realizing the whole system rewarded volume, not whether the content was actually good. anyone posting enough could farm the top spot regardless of quality. that's the exact problem @RallyOnChain seems to be solving, scoring accuracy and originality before payout instead of just counting posts. doesn't get my money back, but at least i know what i'd check for next time. what's the moment you realized you were farming a project instead of actually believing in it?
