ALT I plan to vote for Anders Folk for Hennepin County Attorney. Anders is experienced as a prosecutor and as a leader of staff. He will serve Hennepin County well. Anders Folk will be a strong partner with local law enforcement. One person cannot protect the public alone, and cannot reform criminal justice alone. They must work well with local police, ensuring fair treatment and high-quality evidence, while respecting local knowledge and experience. That partnership leads to better outcomes for both victims and the accused. Cedrick Frazier is a great leader in the Minnesota House, and I am grateful for his service. But I am concerned about his lack of experience for this role: he has never prosecuted a case in his career, and he has not worked in criminal law in nearly twenty years. That is not adequate for this critical moment for Hennepin County. Anders has the experience we need on day one. I hope you will join me in supporting him.
