Clay inquiries unfold across our Strong Start centres. Through touching, squeezing, rolling, & transforming, learners explore clay as a material for thinking, wondering & expressing ideas. They investigate texture, form, & possibility, guided by their own discoveries. @sd38ELCC

🌧️What has the rain brought to outdoor learning? Mud. Puddles. Mixing. Pouring. Experimenting. Imagining.

On September 30, the district will formally observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Schools will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, offering time for reflection on residential schools and our collective history. We encourage everyone to wear orange in recognition of this important day.
StrongStart centres read "Today Is Orange Shirt Day" by Phyllis Webstad & Natasia Davies. Children created handprints at this centre reminding us to listen, learn, and care for one another with kindness and respect as we learn about Truth and Reconciliation together. 🧡@sd38ELCC
