My first comic for @NewYorker is about the absurdities of teaching art during a pandemic. Yes, I really do use a megaphone sometimes when I teach these days. Read the whole comic here: newyorker.com/humor/daily-sh… #comics #arteducation

SEPTA was created because of the failure of privately-run companies to profitably maintain and operate transit lines
The idea that you can just switch it back without service cuts suggests to me that state legislators don't grasp what public transit is or why it exists

Everything in our economy becomes much clearer when you understand that Don Draper was not good at selling lucky strikes, he was good at selling ads to the company selling lucky strikes
Happy #kidlitartpostcard day! My name is Steve and I’m represented by @ericarsilverman at @StimolaLiterary . I live and work in Philly, and I like to draw with ink and paint and digital tools, but sometimes I just like crayons and colored pencils! #kidlit
My latest drawing for the @PhillyInquirer features the incredible Doo Wop motels of Wildwood, NJ #doowop #Jerseyshore
I always used to laugh listening to @UhhYeahDude make fun of parents calling their kids “indigo children.” Don’t I feel silly now that I have a bonafide indigo child in my house
I got to design this limited edition t-shirt for the wonderful musician @allegramkrieger to commemorate the release of her latest single. Listen to it here: allegrakrieger.bandcamp.com/…

I'm giddy to announce that I'll be illustrating @yikeslouise's incredible new picture book, "Sixteen Games of Hide and Seek," set to release in 2026. I'm honored to be drawing this book. Two Steves on Publisher's Weekly! #kidlit

Today is the first day of summer. It's hot, and it's a perfect day to listen to this dad rock anthem I wrote with @flatmaryroad about that summer feeling... youtube.com/watch?v=KoNPIvP0…
In this corner! Weighing in at an unstoppable 8.3 pounds..the slinking slugger..the purring pugilist..Professor Naps! And in this corner...your returning heavyweight champion, weighing in at a dangerous 8.4 pounds...the meowing mercenary...the whiskered warrior..Mr. Snuggleface!
Throughout the summer the @philamuseum will have a special Mary Cassatt exhibit. I've been looking at her artwork a lot recently in order to make this illustration; one of the cards for the Pittsburgh-themed tarot deck I'm finishing up with Ed Simon! @Microcosmmm #tarot
