This was fun!
Watching an incredibly cool demo of a real-time, multi-player app that uses no web sockets, no SSE, and no JavaScript. Just some htmx, along with a content header nobody’s ever heard of from the 90’s @scriptogre is next-level

Had a decent experience working with GPT-5.6-Sol using Pi for a month. Claude drives me crazy with how noisy its answers are.

Before, running a remote MCP server meant managing session state, which limited where you could run it. Now that MCP is stateless, you can deploy on serverless and edge infrastructure, or scale horizontally behind any load balancer.

Making the HTMX Game: GB Music A great way to learn a new tool is to recreate something to understand how it was originally made. I started with the Final Fantasy Legend theme - the first chiptune I’d turn on my Game Boy just to listen to. This exercise taught me 3 of the 4 sound channels, how to make an echo (later used in our SSH Tunnel level), vibrato, and how to loop patterns.

Guys! It's happening. I really hope it's not false-positive, and I'll get rejection in a moment :P

He must be stopped at any cost - but rly it's only $25 for a real gameboy cartridge with a full playable game and javascript library inside.

Currently noticing a trend of dangerous misinformation circulating here on social media/X. @htmx_org 4.0 isn’t the first version that was distributed on physical media. HTMX 2.0 was distributed on diskette in 2024. If this trend continues, I’ll be forced to submit community notes. If you’re one of those people spreading disingenuous misinformation, consider yourself on notice.

This is one of the coolest announcements I've ever seen at a conference They built an entire (playable) game, for the gameboy, with the htmx 4 source as the big reveal when you defeat the final boss (@WarrenInTheBuff obv) Please buy it and support these wonderful people ❤️

Amazing. HTMXs status as a framework has been established and permanently enshrined in physical media.

BigSkyDevConf did it again A 2 day-er this year and now Im hoping they decide to make it 3. It's the only conference where the typical "conference talks" stick out like a sore thumb. Just a bunch of people showing people their unique perspective and way of doing things + stuff they think is cool Not only that, I've met so many people at this thing who are now genuinely good friends now it's ridiculous, and each year just seems to add a few more. Hell I even work with a few of them now Thank you @jamesfrommt's wife and @htmx_org for all the work you put in to yet another epic weekend. Excited for 2027 and the HtmxBox unveiling. Gaming will never be the same!

Barrett had the best talk at Big Sky and it's not a contest and I'm not just saying that because he's threatened me with legal action if I say otherwise
