I have seen defensive AI convinced something was benign when it was not, more often than offensive AI being used imo. That's possibly the bigger threat right now.

I don't get the need for rage. Surely it's... From ffmpeg: "you're welcome to submit a pull request". From sec researcher it's: "I've given <project> all the time I'm willing to. Time for a CVE." From user it's: "ffmpeg has a vulnerability we do not like, we'll switch to xyz"

Might be too in the weeds but the fact that for some reason it appears the world has happily renamed DLL Hijacking to DLL sideloading despite its specific meaning, and this grinds my gears.

They likely have 3rd party insurance for cycling in the same way you do. Live in a house with contents insurance? Yeah? Congrats, in the UK you're almost certainly insured for your 3rd party public liability whilst using a pedal cycle.

Cyclists often do have public liability insurance. Covered by a contents insurance policy in the UK? Then using a space hopper, skipping rope, walking or on your nightly run or even riding a bicycle - you're covered for public liability.

It's not even just the BBC. Everyone focuses on it, but the TV licence funds a number of services. Freeview and Freesat - that's a TV licenced funded thing. UK Broadband and Fibre rollout - that's a TV licence funded thing.
