So apparently this man named Sadiq lives in Adoekiti with his wife Ize Kehinde Okaraga. She got married to him last year and he beats her evertime.
This woman is a family friend and she said in Ebira that—“I was sleeping when he came knocking on the door early in the morning. He knelt down and started begging me to beg Kehinde to come back and I asked him where she was and he said she was in her father’s house.
I asked him to go to her father’s house to talk to her and he said the parents don’t want him close to her anymore. I told him we would try to settle the case.
I went there to ask Ize to come to my house cos I wanted to dialogue with her. Ize came to hear what I had to say. I didn’t know this man already bought a brand new cutlass to use on her. I heard noises and I rushed in only for me to see Kehinde Ize’s butchered body all over the place.
I started shouting for help that he has killed his wife in my house . He pushed me aside and took to his heels and till now, we haven’t seen him.

What is going on with women? It’s no longer men who abuse kids but now their mothers too ?
A mother is supposed to be one of the safest people a child can run to, so hearing about a mother being arrested for allegedly abusing her own 3 year old daughter is honestly disturbing. A child that young cannot protect herself, cannot fully understand what is happening, and cannot simply walk away from an abusive situation.
How does anyone look at a little child and choose to hurt her?
Whether it is a man or a woman, abuse is abuse. Children deserve protection, love and safety, especially inside their own homes. This is heartbreaking and honestly makes you wonder what is happening to people.
The type of evil I've seen this week alone, fathers and mothers sexually abusing their kids. It's a jungle out here.

27-Year-Old Man Sentenced To 7 Years In Prison For R@ping 8-Year-Old Girl At His Residence In Minna, Niger State
A Niger State High Court sitting in Minna, presided over by Hon. Justice Binta Bawa, has convicted 27-year-old Hussaini Suleiman for r@ping a 8-year-old girl at his residence behind the Prison Quarters in Minna, Niger State.
Suleiman pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
The case was referred to the Niger State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) by the Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) following the report of the incident.
During the proceedings, the convict admitted to committing the offence and was subsequently arraigned before Court 8 of the Niger State High Court in Minna, where he was convicted and sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment.
