Covering the #CFL & #Ticats, Diversity is Strength & @YouCanPlayTeam felt real to me. Individual initiatives - @marwanhage Heroes, Setta's Kick for Kids, one-off visits to families or people in need of support made a real difference. I miss those stories.
Three years ago today, I left a newsroom for the last time after more than two decades in newspaper journalism. I miss it every day. And I don't regret leaving.
