Manchester United and the Illusion of Competence: My Direct Experience.
I worked for Man Utd for a brief period in my early 20's after starting coaching at a young age. I could do a longer article about this but here is the outline;
1. MUSS Dubai
2. MUSS Lisbon
3. Ole + Joyce.
Ferocity of Matheus Rocha really jumps out. Like a hybrid Pace and Power guy with high frequency in tight spaces. Could be scary if he puts it altogether. Also interesting RWB option. Looks like he'd be a nightmare to get past.🤔

#manutd results, performances and injuries are reaching a new low, but contract management might be the biggest disaster at the club!
7 players could leave next summer if Bruno, Harry and Lisandro are not given +1 (why wait?).
Mount I can understand not + 1'ing...

Youngster Henry Muhoozi just won mvp at cecafa u17 after 4 90mins in U17 AFCON as a 14yo! Now 15, hes just incredibly quick physically + mentally helpin organise the team and put out fires effortlessly. A while before he can move.

I swear I posted Soriba Diaoune but only on the YT channel. Was a while ago tbf.
1st CL game and a double? Was not tough to see he was going to be some player. Good for him! Onwards and upwards.

Its just non stop with #manutd.
My pinned post of Utd illusion of competency seems bang on right now. Absolute shitshow.
Both ETH and RA had same issues of 'contracted' as manager not HC.
Buying big names and them doing what they want.
Had it from both ends...Part 2 to come
🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Erik ten Hag has BLASTED Manchester United’s “TOXIC CULTURE” and accused the club’s leadership of giving TOO MUCH POWER TO THE PLAYERS!
“They are continuing the TOXIC CULTURE. They fuel it, they give the power to the players.
Rashford is an AMAZING PLAYER, if his mindset is right.
I always showed my trust in him, played him. But when you set these standards, sometimes you have to make corrections.”
Ten Hag believes Manchester United’s hierarchy FAILED to support him over disciplinary decisions involving players such as Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.
“They promised me LOYALTY, they promised me BACKING, they promised COMMUNICATION, that we would be aligned.
We spoke about the issues.
BUT THE PROMISES, THEY DIDN’T KEEP.”
Brand new midfield and Lammens launched it long close to 40 times today. Dont think we got possession from any of them.
Brilliant.
Lammens 14 out of 15 passes long balls in 45 mins. Dont think we ve ended up with possession with any of them.
Bruno at 44% passing on 18 passes too.
Can #manutd hold on to this lead?
Dont agree with Gary on Lisandro.
In 2010 we had a team full of monsters, so yes GN has a point then.
Man Utd had 8 players vs ATL that had played less than 90 mins away from home in the CL ever.
Yoro, Heaven, Baleba etc would agree with LM in this context, its not the same.

To summarize, that is 8 players that had all played less than 90 minutes of Champions League away games in their entire careers.
You simply can't blame players if they are inexperienced.
LM is saying this is not a CL squad, cos it literally isnt.
Bruno, Harry AND Lisandro are all on +1 team option contracts (not announced yet). Just so all #manutd fans know.
Shaw is expiring without a +1.
Amass and Tyler Fletcher also expiring w/o.
transfermarkt.co.uk/manchest… just sort by contract on detailed view, assume its correct info.
