UNC coach Michael Malone: "We do not want to be a mid-range shooting team. Worst shot in basketball... We want to live at rim, the free-throw line, and get up a lot of threes."

This guy made $150 million off the back of unpaid labor and now spends his time lobbying against players getting paid what they’re worth. Cannot imagine being that morally bankrupt.
Awful Announcing

This morning on ESPN's First Take, Nick Saban argued player and coach pay are "totally different markets." "That's like asking me 'Does a student's scholarship equal the professor's pay?' I mean, how much value does a coach create for a university?" 📺 💰️

We are 100% sure that the Daily Mail will come under fire for this headline. But knowing what we know now, we are also 100% sure that they are not going to have to issue a retraction. We will be releasing more information soon.

Will Wade on his controversial roster-building 👀 "I'm not hiding from this. What we're doing is unconventional, I understand that. But 20 years ago, Airbnb was unconventional. 15 years ago, you rode in a taxi everywhere... Just because it's unconventional doesn't mean it's not gonna work"

I don’t care if CNN, MSNBC and Politico are banned from The White House. Going to The White House is a privilege, not a right. They can report news anywhere. Trump was banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc… they said nothing — even worse they cheered it on.

. @PatTheBarrett had a similar thing at his concert. It seemed so cringy the tactics they used to try and guilt people into donating. Almost similar to the “pastor” locking the congregants into the building until he raised enough money

Christian band MercyMe received more than $17 million for promoting child sponsorship organizations over a seven-year period, according to court filings. Concertgoers could sponsor a child for $39 a month, and MercyMe in turn would receive $230 for each confirmed sponsor

This is what will keep the church from going soft. This is what will solve the spiritual crisis facing our young men and women. The unflinching proclamation of the gospel is what real strength looks like. This is what will save America’s sons.

Brandon Lake tried to push this weak sucker onto the Church. And it worked. Because of a serious lack of discernment. This is utter weakness and not the good kind. Yikes.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared this on X publicly. My mother, my father, and my grandmother (all now of blessed memory) did not attend my wedding. Why did they boycott it? Because I believed in Jesus and became a Messianic Jew. My life exemplified what Yeshua said about dividing families. Luke 12:53: "They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." Discipleship comes with a cost. But He is worth it.

From an antitrust perspective, it wasn’t a great idea for all of the P4 conferences to make/discuss new rules banning athletes who played in pro leagues from playing for their member teams on the same day.
