Ok. Made the transition. Admittedly a little late to the party. Scopestake.bsky.social

Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.

Today is a great day to say, “Enough. I’ve done my part, and now I must let God do His part.”

Seeing this image of the topography of the US, the book ‘Canoeing the Mountains’ (Tod Bolsinger) makes a lot more sense… 🥴

Discretion is the ability to wait to see what unfolds and not act. It involves the humility and patience to discern when to leave things alone, knowing when our interference will only complicate things. (John Cassian)

Great to see St Stephen's story of a small change making a big environmental and cost difference, shared by the @CofEEnvironment 💡

We all need a Pooh.
"Could you kindly lean against me, 'cos I keep falling over backwards." Pooh dug his feet into the ground and pushed hard, and Christopher Robin pulled at his boot until he had got it on. "Where are we going to on this Expotition?" said Pooh eagerly. ~A.A.Milne #SundayFunday

It was announced earlier today that I will be stepping down as Archdeacon of Tonbridge at the end of October. I have loved being an Archdeacon, but am looking forward to whatever the next role is that God has already prepared for me. #DeoGratias
