I really recommend the team and the project is really well set up for the next postdoc
Replying to @RSBon_Lab
If you would like to contribute to the next stage of this research, we have a short-term postdoc position available with potential further extensions subject to funding. See jobs.leeds.ac.uk/Vacancy.asp… for details. Closing date 7th December.
A really great opportunity with a fantastic team!
Phd opportunity alert ⬇️👍🎉
Want to come and work with @stemuench @MDarrow7 and myself, developing and using cool #cryoEM technologies to study membrane and membrane associated proteins? Read on...

Congrats, really nice work!
Very proud that our paper 'Xanthine-based photoaffinity probes allow assessment of ligand engagement by TRPC5 channels' has now been published in @rsc_chembio pubs.rsc.org/en/content/arti…
We provide new tools to study the pharmacology of TRPC1/4/5 channels in cells.

During the #lockdown I made a stop motion animation movie on #PROTACs showing how they can target proteins for degradation! It's on the brand new version of the Crews lab website crewslab.yale.edu/

1/ I am a third-year medical student. Yesterday, I was assigned a new patient. I hadn’t met them yet, but knew they had presented with liver-related symptoms. In preparation for morning rounds, I flipped through their chart and checked their lab work.

Congrats @PeterJPeters1 and colleagues! 🙂👍 Sample prep is the main hurdle in #cryoEM and it is great to see such new developments! 😃

Just found out that George Floyd was originally stopped by the police because he handed over a counterfeit note in a shop. I did that once! They handed me back the note as a souvenir, and later I told the story on stage in a comedy routine. That’s some privilege right there.

George Floyd and I were both arrested for allegedly spending a counterfeit $20 bill. For George Floyd, a man my age, with two kids, it was a death sentence. For me, it is a story I sometimes tell at parties. That, my friends, is White privilege.
Similar paper here but with a challenging membrane protein complex: biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

A couple of years ago, Norbert Volkmar in my lab envisioned what the EMC might look like based only on our biochemical data. He drew this for a poster at an EMBO meeting. Great to see the @voorheeslab and make his vision finally come to life...
