Very happy to announce that my script, "Deadline Berlin," won the New York Screenwriting Award for best pilot. "Deadline Berlin" is set in Berlin's palatial Hotel Adlon and follows a group of journalists who document the death of democracy in Germany in the ‘30s.

It's a sober & timely tale of what happens when right-wing governments are in charge.

Great set of podcasts on Nur Jahan by @tweeter_anita and @DalrympleWill on @EmpirePodUK. The story of Nur reminds me of another woman in a harem who caught the eye of an emperor: Hurrem.
I was brought up lower-middle class by a single mother. I've been fortunate but I know that the wealth disparity in this country is extreme.
I don't want to hear about identity politics, #Jan6, push-ups, etc. I want to know how you'll address this inequality.
"The median net worth for the bottom 25 percent of American families is only $310, and the bottom 50 percent of families hold less than 2 percent of total U.S. wealth."
I'd like to hear the politicians I will vote for talk about how they will address this situation.
