Alexis Petridis came to one of our Cornwall Youth Noise Orchestra sessions and wrote a brilliant article about it. @guardianculture @YouthMusic theguardian.com/music/2023/j…

‘Here’s a green blob. What does it sound like?’: the kids’ orchestra making mind-expanding noise

Cornwall Youth Noise Orchestra sounds like the harsh end of 80s industrial and freaks out even their teachers. Ahead of a major concert, we visit their adventurous sound lab

“I’m doing my work daddy” he said, so proud! But when I wanted to listen the typical toddler reply was “no daddy it’s my work, not your work!” 🎧 We both however really enjoyed visiting the @britishlibrary @BLSoundHeritage Animals: Art, Science and Sound exhibition 🐾🪰🐋🦇🪶
